Bridging the gap
Generations have rarely worked together WE HAVE TO CHANGE THAT
How can we grow and prosper if we aren’t willing to learn a new or re think the blueprint
Now being older than and seeing a new generation ushered in, I now see even deeper out issues as a people. We’re so wrapped up in what WE know, and what we see the others doing wrong or at least could be done better in OUR EYES.
We judge and don’t listen, we listen to argue, and this weird “you should just know” what to do/say thing is wack. ESPECIALLY WHEN THERE WAS NO INITIAL COMMUNICATION TO BEGIN WITH.
We have to go back to talking, learning, being patient with one another. Everyone may be conditioned but what’s to say they wanna stay that way.
Shoot you publicly exposed someone’s stupidity enough they’ll change it, may not be genuine but it’s acknowledged. Won’t be done in public shoot they may even think twice about when where and how and that’s all we could ask for.
WE HAVE TO DO THIS ON ALL FRONTS. Not just the issues battling misogyny, or rape culture or things we clearly see need to be spoken about but are gaslit or conspiracy theoried out of the picture. EVERYTHING!
WE HAVE TO DO THE WORK. We’ve been waiting for people that don’t fuck with our process, the way we do things or want things.
BUT THEY RAISED US.
It’s sad. But in all reality the citizens have finally outgrown the old ass parental structure and it needs to change, and the only way to do that is by bridging these gaps and learning how to move again.
