The Talk of Fame Podcast got to chat with Mia Lastrella & Joelle Westwood!! They are the co-founders of Western Star Entertainment Group! Mia is an American screenwriter and director based in New York City. She is currently attending Pace University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies. She is best known for her directorial and writing work on the Just One Thing Campaign (feat. Alysia Reiner) and her independent projects, Wake Up, and Strangers. In her spare time, Mia volunteers as an accredited videographer for a non-profit organization, and works as a film studies teaching assistant at Pace University. Joelle is an actress, producer, published playwright and screenwriter also based in New York City. Joelle is currently developing two new musicals (stay tuned for those!) and is an advocate for climate change, animal rights, and educating younger generations on the impact of technology and mental health.
