Stephanie tells us about women in trucking. She has logged over 3 million miles and gives us her perspective of the trucking industry and women. 

Stephanie Klang is a professional driver for Con-way Truckload who currently serves on the Women in Trucking’s Image Team 2015 and is a former member of the month as well as a 2014 Influential Woman in Trucking award finalist. Klang completed a term with the American Trucking Association as a 2013-2014 America’s Road Team Captain. 

Klang’s background includes over 35 years of professional driving, joining Con-way Truckload in 1987. She is a former team, and current solo driver. Klang drives over the road to all 48 continental states. She is the first woman to reach three million safe miles at Con-way Truckload. In 2012, Klang received the CEO Constellation Leader award from Con-way after representing Con-way Truckload as a President’s Award winner. 

Con-way Truckload’s number one core value of safety means both professional drivers as well as the motoring public should arrive home safe.Klang daily supports safety by setting her goal to pick up and deliver safely and on time while positively representing the trucking industry. When the opportunity arises, Klang consistently assists fellow professional drivers with map reading, backing, sliding tandems, and more.

Klang drives with Fred, her 15 year-old tom cat, who keeps her company while driving all 48 states and has seen nearly 2 million miles.
