Ms. Shelton is a principal and the senior director of Human Resources for Novogradac & Company LLP, a mid-sized CPA firm specializing in complex real estate tax law. She is responsible for the human resources function, which include: recruitment, retention, employee relations, benefits, compensation and organizational development. Ms. Shelton joined Novogradac & Company LLP in June 2014. She has 25 years of experience  and holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification, SHRM-SCP (Senior Certified Professional) certification in addition to several  training and assessment tool certifications. Prior  to her current role, Ms. Shelton has held senior level HR positions within the manufacturing and service arena.

Ms. Shelton graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon and took graduate courses at Washington State University in Vancouver, Washington. You can find Michelle on LinkedIn .
