This week we had the privilege of meeting Eli Wall, Varisity Blues’ top breaststroker. While representing UofT swimming, Eli swept the 100m and 200m breaststroke in 2015, 2016, and 2018, and took silvers in both events in 2017. He was named the U Sports male swimmer of the year in 2014-2015, and was a two time UofT T-Holder’s male athlete of the year (2014/15 and 2017/18).Eli represented Canada at the 2015 FISU Summer Universiade in Gwangju and again in 2017 in Taipei. Most recently, he was on the Canadian team for the Commonwealth Games finalling in the 200m breaststroke and swimming the breaststroke leg on the relay, finishing in 6th place. He closed out the 2018 season in Tokyo once again representing Canada at the Pan Pacific championships, again finalling in the 200m breaststroke.Eli's TwitterEli's Instagram
