Hey there, awesome surfers and beach lovers! Ready to catch some waves and soak up the sun? Well, get stoked because we've got your Northern and Central California surf zone forecast hot off the press from the National Weather Service in San Francisco Bay Area.

Starting up north in Sonoma and Marin County coastal areas, today's surf height will be rocking at 7 to 11 feet on Northwest facing beaches and 3 to 5 feet on South-facing beaches. No thunderstorms expected, but get ready for some partly cloudy skies with a hint of haze. And don't forget, the water temperature is missing today, so dip your toes and let us know! High temperatures will range from 52 to 76 with a chill NW wind starting at 8 MPH and picking up to 10 MPH.

Moving on to Saturday, the surf will remain impressive at 7 to 11 feet on Northwest facing beaches and 3 to 5 feet on South-facing beaches. Expect partly cloudy weather with highs between 54 to 82 and a NW wind at 17 MPH strengthening to 21 MPH.

Now, let’s slide over to San Francisco and San Mateo County coastal areas. Today, get ready for some solid waves at 7 to 11 feet on West facing beaches and 2 to 4 feet on South-facing beaches. No thunderstorms in sight, but you can enjoy a partly cloudy day with haze. The water temperature is around 52 to 53 degrees. High temperatures will be slightly cooler, ranging from 52 to 68 with a SW wind starting at 6 MPH and increasing to 9 MPH.

For Saturday, the waves will keep coming in at 7 to 11 feet on West facing beaches and 2 to 4 feet on South-facing beaches. Weather will be mostly cloudy with highs between 54 to 73 and a NW wind at 11 MPH, picking up to 14 MPH.

Heading down to Santa Cruz County coastal areas, today will bring in 7 to 11 feet on Northwest facing beaches and 3 to 5 feet on South-facing beaches. Weather will be partly cloudy with haze and patchy clouds. High temperatures ranging from 56 to 74 and a SW wind starting at 4 MPH and picking up to 8 MPH.

On Saturday, the surf will be slightly lower at 6 to 10 feet on Northwest facing beaches and 2 to 4 feet on South-facing beaches. It will be mostly cloudy with similar high temperatures and a NW wind at 6 MPH strengthening to 11 MPH.

Lastly, for Monterey Bay and Big Sur coastal areas, today will offer surf heights of 8 to 12 feet on West facing beaches and 2 to 4 feet on South-facing beaches. Partly cloudy weather with haze and patchy clouds with temperatures ranging from 55 to 69. A SW wind at 4 MPH, increasing to 10 MPH.

On Saturday, the waves will be a bit smaller at 6 to 9 feet on West facing beaches and 1 to 3 feet on South-facing beaches with mostly cloudy skies and highs between 56 to 72. A W wind at 5 MPH picking up to 11 MPH.
