Richard Nixon sought the Office of President of the United States for two decades, and, elected to that office--re-elected in a landslide in 1972--a victim of his humanity, he was forced to resign that office. This was the nadir of a life filled with great accomplishments. Looking at the spiritual disappointment and despair of the prophet Elijah in 1 Kings 19, this sermon explores experiencing and dealing with disappointment in ministry--and seeing God's Hand in those challenging events.
