Text: Luke 10:1-11. In this sermon, Father Bill reminds us that the Lord challenges us to live lives of simplicity in following Him. A key issue before the church today is that there are many pastors who are using Jesus as their "meal ticket" to great wealth and affluence. Pastors rationalize that mansions and private jets are "gifts from God," and yet the One they claim to follow "has no where to lay his head." Jesus, in every age, reminds us that discipleship is about following Him, and in these verses calls us back to first principles--sacrifice, simplicity, discipleship.
