Universities act as the breeding ground for our future  leaders, giving them the mix of knowledge, skills, social network and experience to kick-start the long process of leadership development. Given how quickly technology, globalization, and demographics are shifting, how relevant are universities for this future-leader preparation in the 2020s? Is the current educational structure- largely unchanged for decades- still the best system for training future leaders, scientists, and humanitarians?  We speak with Thomas Everhart, President Emeritus at Caltech to hear his thoughts on the importance of higher education for leadership development.
