Disappointing. This story ends up being less about the woman who made voice training tapes for trans women in the 1990s and more about how two reporters tracked down someone who contributed to trans LGBTQ history and then decided not to knock on her door because she is trans. So, it's not about much at all. Also, I found their treatment of Melanie's advice to utilize harmful stereotypes of women kind of unsatisfying. The host just let that slide, but that didn't feel right to me.
