Adobe Photoshop. Here's a fun fact.

0:05

Every day, millions of people around the world

0:07

use Photoshop to create all kinds of cool stuff.

0:10

Designs for t-shirts and posters, graphics

0:12

to promote brands and businesses, images

0:14

for social and websites. Anyone can do

0:16

it. And to the guy who put a bulldog's

0:18

head on a parakeet's body, you, sir,

0:21

are a genius.

0:30

This is a CBC

0:32

Podcast. Hey.

0:41

Hey, how are you? Good, how are you? Good.

0:44

Hope you got some food and that. I didn't, but it's okay. I

0:46

don't really like to eat when I'm doing work. It's

0:49

kind of a two-part process of losing weight

0:51

and losing my mind. Where

0:54

do we go, this way?

0:54

Yeah. Okay. Laurie

0:59

Strand and I heading to a riverside

1:01

whitehorse park. The sun

1:03

is out and keeps us going through another

1:06

long summer's day. We're

1:08

heading to a meeting with someone who says they

1:10

spent an evening with Angel around

1:12

the time she disappeared. And

1:16

Julie is?

1:17

My cousin. She was

1:19

good friends with Angel. And

1:21

then she's like, I'm a little worried

1:24

because it was so long ago I don't remember

1:26

anything. So it's

1:28

the small things that I told her. It

1:30

is the small things. Also, I wonder

1:32

if police actually talked to her. Police

1:36

say Angel was last seen in downtown Whitehorse

1:39

sometime on the evening of May 26th. But

1:42

some versions of events I'm hearing

1:44

about have Angel disappearing

1:47

sometime before that or perhaps

1:49

after that from a grad party. If

1:52

there is a discrepancy, it

1:55

needs to be cleared up.

1:59

I have that feeling that

2:03

we could solve this case together

2:07

because everybody

2:09

has a mistake in it. Everybody

2:11

has something to say and everybody wants

2:14

to talk, but you

2:16

have to ask the right question.

2:17

Yeah. I know some people are... They

2:22

don't think they know anything, but you

2:25

never know. I'm

2:30

David Rijan and this is Someone Knows Something

2:32

Season 8, The Angel Carla

2:34

Case, Episode 4,

2:36

Photograph. Alright,

2:48

so what do we got here? This is a

2:51

photo Alex shared with

2:53

me.

2:54

So that's Angel and then that's

2:56

my cousin Julie and that's my

2:58

cousin Tamara. That's

3:01

great. Let me get a picture

3:03

of

3:05

that. We've arrived at our interview location

3:07

and Lori is holding up her phone showing

3:10

a photo we received from Alex. In

3:12

it, Angel stands next to two other

3:15

friends. One of them is Julie

3:17

or Jules, the person we are about

3:19

to meet. It's the only photo

3:21

I've seen of Angel from what appears

3:24

to be around the time she disappeared and

3:26

it was taken at a graduation party.

3:29

Angel appears relaxed in a navy blue

3:32

sweat top smiling wryly holding

3:34

a can of beer and giving the photographer

3:36

the finger. And

3:39

so Alex said this is the only picture that

3:41

they got of the native grad, the

3:44

night of native grad. Oh. Yeah.

3:48

So this is her last photo basically. This

3:50

is her last photo. Yeah. I

3:54

wonder what time that photo was taken. Is

3:56

this the time on the picture somehow or is it on

3:58

part of the file?

6:00

It's a good person in general. A

6:03

good friend.

6:05

And how did that day unfold? Like, you ended

6:07

up at that after party. Did

6:10

you go with Angel?

6:12

Or did you just see her there? I

6:15

think we all went

6:17

together, like me, Angel,

6:20

Tamara, and

6:22

I

6:23

think there's a couple other people, but it's hard to

6:25

remember. Tamara

6:27

Jim is the other person standing in the

6:30

photo with Angel and Jules. I'll

6:32

be trying to talk to her, too. What

6:36

do you remember about that night in

6:39

terms of what the gathering was like?

6:41

About at Chatburn. Just a

6:43

whole bunch of grads.

6:46

Just finished graduating, so having

6:49

a couple drinks, having fun. Yeah.

6:52

And joy and life.

6:54

And with Angel there, can you remember

6:56

sort of anybody else she was with

6:58

in particular that night? Not

7:01

really, no, just kind of hanging out with us

7:04

and our little group and nobody

7:07

that I knew of after

7:09

the fact, I guess. Yeah, okay.

7:12

How did the evening come to an end

7:14

then? When was the last time you remember

7:17

seeing Angel?

7:19

I think it was when the cops

7:22

came, or the

7:25

fire department or something, because then

7:27

everybody kind of disperses, right?

7:29

And then that was the last time

7:31

that I've seen her, because we all kind of

7:33

just lost track of each other, start by

7:36

that point. So the

7:38

police arrived, you say, or fire

7:40

people arrived? Seriously, big bonfires,

7:43

right? Oh, all right, okay. So when at

7:45

that point the police or the

7:47

breakup happened and then you didn't see her? Yeah,

7:50

because that was the last time. There

7:52

was no memory of sort of seeing her with somebody

7:54

as you laughed or waving goodbye.

7:59

Jewels says she got home around 5

8:02

a.m. driven by her designated

8:04

driver, Aunt Darlene. She

8:06

remembers police on the road checking

8:09

cars, but she cannot recall

8:11

if their vehicle was checked. Do

8:14

you remember talking to anybody else who said that they saw

8:16

Angel after the party?

8:23

Wouldn't it be like Angel in your

8:25

estimation to go with somebody she didn't

8:27

know to get a ride home? Nope.

8:30

We all kind of like made sure we got home.

8:48

Jewels says this party at Chadburn

8:51

Lake is the last place she

8:53

and others she knows saw Angel, but

8:56

it's unclear exactly what day

8:58

this party took place. According

9:01

to police, the last of several sightings

9:03

of Angel on the evening of May 26th

9:06

had her walking away from LaPage

9:08

Park in downtown Whitehorse around 9

9:11

p.m. with two whiter-looking

9:14

men. Was the Chadburn

9:16

party before those sightings or

9:18

could it have been after? I'll

9:21

find out. In

9:24

the meantime, I want to find Tamara, the

9:27

other person in the photo with Angel on Jewels,

9:30

but she lives outside of town some

9:32

distance and will have to go there to talk

9:34

to her. On the way, we

9:36

drop in for a quick look around at the

9:38

Chadburn Lakeside, a single

9:41

route in or out on a 10 kilometer

9:43

gravel road.

9:46

and

10:00

move her to almost

10:03

an hour's drive from here.

10:06

We were to drive from Chippern Lake

10:09

all the way out to Pilot

10:12

Mountain, it's about an hour's drive. There's

10:17

a lot of time to risk being stopped. I

10:20

mean, it's just driving out here for like, we have

10:22

to four or five people.

10:25

We can imagine this road being just packed

10:27

with people on a night like

10:29

that.

10:35

The gravel road ends in a turnaround

10:37

and a few rough parking spots. Down

10:40

a short incline, a dock floats

10:42

on a crystal of turquoise water, overlooking

10:45

yet another breathtaking vista. We

10:48

turn toward a nearby large gazebo

10:50

and what looks like a well-used campfire.

10:53

Okay, so here

10:57

we are at Chadburn.

11:03

So the partying would be everywhere

11:05

around here or just down here?

11:07

People would party by their vehicles,

11:09

you know, and then down here is where the

11:11

main party would be. Okay. There's

11:15

a fire pit down here.

11:19

The fire pit, surrounded by a worn

11:21

ring of packed and blackened soil, looks

11:24

like it has been in operation for many years. The

11:27

woods close in around it on three

11:29

sides like a bowl with the lake a

11:31

short distance down that slope on the fourth

11:33

side. It's been very useful

11:35

to see how far away this place is from

11:38

downtown Whitehorse and the layout,

11:41

but I don't know if there are any easy answers

11:43

here.

11:46

As we head back to the car, a pair of ravens

11:48

flies by overhead.

11:52

I had a case where I wish

11:54

that the ravens could talk.

12:00

These trees can talk. They'd tell

12:02

you stories. I'm

12:06

getting eaten alive here, sorry. Me too. Yeah.

12:09

Threw it up. All the bugs are going up.

12:13

We get back in the car and drive to

12:15

a community about half an hour from downtown

12:18

Whitehorse. We're looking for Tamara,

12:20

who Lori calls Mott's, the

12:22

other woman in the photo with Angel.

12:25

I noticed their car is

12:27

gone. And then their other truck. Okay,

12:31

so these guys aren't here. Come

12:38

on, dogs. Nice,

12:41

but not nice. I

12:43

don't like dogs that I don't know.

12:46

So far, all we have found is this

12:48

barking dog. But eventually,

12:50

Lori flags down someone else she knows, and

12:53

they lead us right to Tamara's doorstep. Everyone

12:56

knows everyone everywhere, it seems, in

12:59

the Yukon.

13:15

Hello. Hi, Mott. How

13:18

are you? Tamara

13:22

grabs a coffee and joins us on the porch

13:24

in her sock's feet, wearing a black

13:26

hoodie and white sweats. Lori

13:28

shows her the photograph, and like jewels,

13:31

Tamara takes some time as it hits

13:33

her, leaning on her doorframe

13:35

and gazing out onto the landscape. Tamara

13:39

also remembers this photo being

13:42

taken at the Chadburn Lake party.

13:45

What time did you guys leave Chadburn? Like 10

13:48

midnight, it wasn't very late at all. At

13:51

the Chadburn party, did you notice anybody

13:53

that was there that shouldn't have been there? That

13:56

was, you know, like different.

13:58

No, we left. left relatively

14:01

early because Auntie Darlene, somebody

14:03

had like thrown their

14:06

alcohol and it like hit her truck.

14:08

So Auntie Darlene was like, hey, that's it, get in,

14:10

we're leaving. And then the party went, continued

14:13

on at her house. Oh, okay. Yeah.

14:15

So did Angel go to that? Yeah.

14:18

Oh, okay. You saw her there? Yeah, at

14:20

the house. Yeah. Because

14:24

someone else had talked to, said that nobody

14:26

saw Angel after the Chadburn thing.

14:29

Oh, no. So that everybody was worried

14:31

the next day? No. Or within

14:33

two days for sure. People were wondering where she was. No, because

14:35

no, it was after the Chadburn thing. I remember

14:38

that.

14:40

Hardy was the Friday and then there was a barbecue

14:42

or something like a fire in a relative's

14:45

backyard.

14:46

There was like not really more, any drinks going

14:48

around. Angel wanted

14:50

to go downtown to look for more drinks

14:53

and wanted me to go with her, but I didn't want to,

14:55

I ended up staying in the village.

14:59

So another party right after

15:01

Chadburn. And then sometime

15:03

after that, during the day, a barbecue.

15:07

According to Tamara, Angel

15:10

had been at both.

15:15

And you're sure the barbecue came after

15:17

that, after Chadburn? Yeah, it was after

15:19

Chadburn. Yeah, because the native

15:21

grad is typically on a Friday.

15:24

So the party would have been on the Friday and

15:26

then the 26 could have been the barbecue.

15:31

The last setting was the barbecue, that

15:33

barbecue. That changes things. But

15:36

it does. Yeah, because

15:38

then it puts her into downtown, which is why the police

15:40

are talking about that. Jules

15:42

clearly said that she last

15:44

saw her at the lake. Was Julie at

15:47

the barbecue? I don't think so. So

15:49

then that would make sense. That makes sense, yeah.

15:51

Yeah. Okay, so

15:54

now we're tracking her through to the

15:56

Saturday, which could be the day of the barbecue.

15:59

We'll figure that out.

16:03

A complicating factor is that a flyer

16:05

we have advertises a native

16:08

grad in May 2007 and says that

16:11

a party at Chadburn is to be held on May

16:14

19th, the week before the 25th and 26th. There

16:18

were several parties and perhaps more

16:20

than one at Chadburn Lake, so my

16:23

operating theory will have to be here

16:25

that the party at Chadburn, the

16:27

one where that last photo of Angel was

16:30

taken alongside her two friends with

16:32

her hair done for graduation, happened

16:35

on Friday, May 25th, and

16:38

the barbecue Tamara is referring to

16:40

happened probably on Saturday, the 26th.

16:44

I remember that police confirmed that Angel

16:46

was working at Blue Feather up to at least

16:49

May 25th, leaving work

16:51

that day at 8pm. So

16:53

according to this theory and Tamara

16:55

and police information, Angel

16:57

did not disappear from Chadburn

17:00

Lake.

17:05

Now we just have to worry about Olive Whitehorse. We

17:08

thought that it was easier with Chadburn because

17:10

it's just a bottleneck and there's only certain numbers

17:12

of people in and out. Did you talk to

17:15

Angel at the barbecue? Yeah. Do

17:17

you remember anything she talked about? Well,

17:19

I don't know. Like

17:20

we were talking mostly just like kind of joking

17:22

around lots of stuff, like lots of joking

17:24

things, I think. And then really the last thing

17:26

I remember was her wanting to go downtown

17:29

to look for more drinking.

17:30

Did anybody go with her?

17:32

She's asking me to go with her, but I didn't want to go downtown.

17:35

And nobody else wants to go downtown. We didn't have any money. So

17:37

she didn't have any money either. So basically,

17:39

it was going to be just like finding who was partying.

17:42

How did she get downtown? Do you think she

17:44

had a bike? Okay.

17:47

Do you remember what color her bike was? No,

17:49

but I do remember like her having a BMX bike, like

17:51

a smaller kind of maybe silver

17:54

BMX bike.

17:57

Do you remember anything about the bike being found

17:59

later? No. Okay. Do

18:02

you remember anything about Angel? I'm just going to sound like a grilling. I

18:04

apologize. That's okay. Do you remember anybody

18:06

different being there? Anybody

18:09

different you hadn't seen before or knew? No, just

18:11

the ordinary. Yeah. You

18:14

think she'd get in a car with someone she didn't know?

18:17

Possibly. I think that like

18:19

there was a lot of times I had to like lecture her

18:21

about just not like making unsafe

18:23

choices, especially when it came

18:26

to like wanting to keep drinking and stuff

18:28

like that. Okay.

18:31

Not an easy one to answer, but Tamara

18:33

is less sure than Jules on the question of

18:35

who Angel might trust. And

18:38

how did she respond to those lectures or what you call lectures?

18:41

I'd be like, I know, Mots, I know

18:44

and stuff like that.

18:44

So you're certain that she didn't leave

18:47

with somebody? It would have. No. Okay.

18:51

And going forward after Angel disappeared,

18:53

did you hear anything from anybody about

18:56

what might have happened or that you

18:58

felt was credible?

18:59

Not really. So

19:04

if she found a drink or whatever, where would she go?

19:08

Literally, she would go with like whoever's drinking,

19:10

like whoever has it. Okay. Yeah. Yeah.

19:19

In your mind, you may have constructed kind

19:21

of a narrative of what might have happened. Did you

19:23

ever think what's the scenario that would have involved

19:26

ending up with

19:27

Angel being found up in that pilot

19:29

mountain? I

19:31

don't know.

19:34

I am like somewhere over

19:36

the years, I kind of heard that there was sort of

19:39

fighting with some girls.

19:41

And it's like what they did after, like

19:43

what it took her, I have no idea.

19:44

Interesting. Does it seem likely that she

19:46

would be fighting with girls? I

19:49

mean the fighting part, but then going up to the pilot mountain

19:51

part, I don't think that would be. Did

19:53

anybody that you knew ever go to pilot

19:56

mountain to party? No. Did

19:58

you ever even know that there was something out there to party? No.

20:01

So that, I mean I think that the circle

20:03

around Pilot Mountain is of interest. Yeah.

20:07

Did you know anyone from there today? Did Angel know anyone

20:09

from there? From like the area? Yeah, from

20:11

up there. I don't think so. In particular?

20:13

No. Have you ever been out

20:16

to that spot? Like have you gone out to look

20:18

at the site? No. Mm-hmm.

20:22

Oh. Yeah. Mm-hmm.

20:26

I'm sharing too much with you. No, it's okay.

20:28

I don't care. Okay, yeah.

20:33

Tamara feels like one of the last

20:35

friendly links with Angel, but

20:38

maybe I'm pushing for info too hard. We

20:41

all pause for a moment here on the porch

20:44

before Tamara continues. Honestly,

20:47

I just, I always just loosely look back

20:50

and like wish that I didn't let her go alone. Yeah.

20:53

But I should have gone there. What would you wear on that day?

20:56

It was like my first big loss as a kid. I

20:58

didn't really know how to navigate through

21:00

that. My parents were really kind of

21:03

going

21:03

through like unlearning their own trauma

21:05

to be so they didn't

21:06

know how to really be there for mine. It

21:10

was pretty dark for a little while.

21:12

One of the same people that she hung out with, they're probably

21:14

feeling really lost.

21:20

Thanks very much. Yeah, no problem.

21:22

Okay. I really appreciate it. Thank you

21:24

so much.

21:26

I leave Lori with her friend

21:28

to say goodbye and wander out

21:31

by the car.

21:48

Do you want to know what it's like to hang out with MS-13

21:50

now Salvador? The Russian mafia fought

21:53

battles all over Brooklyn in the 1990s. But

21:55

what about that time I got lost in the Burmese jungle hunting

21:57

the world's biggest meth lab? I'm Sean Williams.

22:16

with it. The Underworld Podcast explores

22:18

the criminal underworld that affects all of our lives, whether

22:20

we know it or not. Available wherever

22:23

you get your podcasts.

22:29

There's Andy right there. Oh. That's

22:32

you? Yeah, that's who we

22:34

are meeting.

22:38

Darlene Jim acted as designated

22:40

driver on the night of the Chadburn Lake party.

22:43

I want to know how she remembers everything. We've

22:46

met in the Staples parking lot with the

22:48

mural of Angel and Wendy as our backdrop.

22:51

Hello, Andy.

22:59

David, it's your time. Thanks

23:02

for meeting you. Thank you for coming.

23:05

Darlene in glasses and a raincoat

23:07

with short brown hair carries

23:09

an air of calm authority that's hard

23:11

to miss. She's been on the move

23:14

traveling, but made time for

23:16

us to talk about Angel's case.

23:18

I was interested in talking

23:21

to you, Darlene, about driving

23:23

the day of the party at Chadburn?

23:26

Yeah. And Angel stayed

23:28

with me. This

23:31

is the day after Chadburn.

23:34

She stayed at my place. I

23:36

had her and my

23:39

niece Tamara stay and then

23:41

some other

23:41

children that stayed as well. Do you

23:43

know who the other children were?

23:45

Um, geez, I can't

23:47

even remember that they're who it

23:49

was now, but I know for sure Tamara

23:51

and and my boys

23:54

were there. So

23:56

we got her out of Chadburn. Yeah,

23:58

she got her at your place.

23:59

So that accounts for the Friday

24:02

night, Saturday morning. So

24:04

Saturday the 26th, right?

24:06

Saturday the 26th. About 11

24:09

is she left my place in the

24:10

morning.

24:12

Did she eat breakfast at your house?

24:15

She did, I can't even remember. I'm pretty

24:17

sure she did. I'm pretty sure she had some breakfast.

24:21

But she was kind of feeling hungover from

24:23

the night before.

24:24

And why did she leave?

24:26

She needed to go downtown to get change

24:28

of clothes or something. She

24:31

was going to come back after supper.

24:34

Well she left at 11 in the morning. But

24:37

somebody said they had seen her at 3. And

24:40

then we've been calling, I'm pretty

24:42

sure it's after 3, it went

24:44

on 4. We started calling her

24:46

and no answer, no answer,

24:48

no answer, no answer. Did

24:52

she have a phone? She had

24:54

a phone. She did

24:56

have a phone mover calling her.

24:58

She did have a phone mover calling

25:01

us.

25:02

That's interesting.

25:07

Police say that they are unaware of Angel

25:09

potentially having a cell phone. But

25:11

they do say that Angel used programs

25:14

like Bebo, an early social media

25:16

app that featured messaging, and Hotmail.

25:19

And that police went through all of that correspondence

25:22

but found nothing they thought was important.

25:24

Yeah, because

25:26

it's not normal for her not to like eat. She

25:29

knows my number, I had a landline then

25:31

she could have called and said, you know I need to

25:33

pick up, I need a ride or something. And she didn't

25:35

call.

25:37

And she knew. At

25:40

the time she was partying well. So I took my apartment and peed

25:42

away from her because I was going to be out of

25:44

town that weekend and I didn't want her to get us kicked out. So

25:47

I'm wondering where she had a bag. Like

25:50

if she was staying with someone else that I'm not aware of.

25:54

In Tamara's memory Angel said she wanted

25:56

to look for a drink. In Darlene's Angel

25:59

was looking for a drink. for a change of clothes.

26:02

In both, Angel left before

26:04

the barbecue really got started.

26:07

Was there any distress, signs of distress

26:09

in her or was there anyone else that left with

26:12

her? No, no. Did you have

26:14

the barbecue? I had the barbecue

26:16

and we were waiting for her and we were asking

26:18

people where she was and nobody seen her.

26:20

She never showed up, she never came.

26:24

How long was it after that that

26:26

you started to really worry or wonder where Angel

26:28

was?

26:30

About like... That day? Yeah.

26:33

That day. Yeah. When

26:35

Angel left your place, this is

26:38

the photo from Brad Knight,

26:41

supposedly. Sorry, it's kind of dark. So that's

26:43

what she had on at Chadburn. Is that what she had on when

26:45

she left you? Yeah.

26:48

Yeah, she had the same clothes because she didn't

26:50

have clothes to change into. She stayed

26:52

in the same clothes.

26:53

Okay. Yeah. Did

26:55

you ever hear of any kids or

26:58

anybody partying out at the Pilot Mountain

27:00

area? No. Would

27:03

any of your kids ever drive all the way out there to party?

27:05

No. They'll

27:06

go to Chadburn or they'll go to the lake

27:08

around here but they won't go way back out there.

27:12

Did you see her drive away on a bike that

27:14

day? No. No. No. Because America thinks

27:16

she did... Oh, she walked. She walked. She didn't

27:18

have her bike.

27:19

I was suffering them. Yeah.

27:22

So she didn't have her bike with me. She

27:24

probably got a lift. She probably just walked. And

27:28

apparently she ended up going home.

27:32

If Angel was looking for a drink

27:34

that aligns with Alex's sighting of her

27:36

later near the 420 park, she

27:39

told him the same. At

27:41

that time, she did apparently have her bike.

27:44

If she was looking for clothing, where

27:46

would she have gone? And would that be

27:48

the same place she got her bike from? Was

27:51

she staying at a different location

27:53

than Lori's? Now

27:57

that we have a better idea of Angel's timeline,

27:59

it's time to...

29:59

Okay, so tell me about what you experienced.

30:03

I used to live out on the Mayo Road,

30:05

and one morning I was commuting to town

30:08

fairly quickly, and we were

30:10

having breakfast, and I think it

30:12

was a late brunch. It was a Sunday,

30:15

I think it was a Sunday. And

30:18

there's a straight stretch out there, and I was coming to

30:21

a road which is now called Boreal Road, and at the time

30:23

it was just being put in. That

30:25

connects the Pilot Mountain subdivision.

30:27

And

30:31

there was a red truck at the corner at the stop

30:33

sign, and I recognized the man driving

30:36

from, again,

30:38

small town. I had called him

30:40

in, previously as a suspicious person,

30:42

for following young teenage girls downtown,

30:45

looking out his window, catcalling

30:47

them. He

30:49

was like rubbernecking,

30:51

like very young girls

30:55

walking, like 11 to 13

30:57

indigenous girls at the time, and

31:00

frequently I would see him like downtown,

31:02

and again just

31:03

staring.

31:04

And I always had this innate

31:06

ability to know making models of vehicles, so

31:08

it was an early 90s F-150.

31:13

Red in color? It was

31:14

red. Box

31:16

and cab? Pardon me? Box and cab

31:18

were red? Yes. And it didn't have a cap? No.

31:21

Okay.

31:22

Yeah, and so at

31:24

that time, I just, him and I walked

31:26

eyes, and it was just one of those eerie,

31:29

like people who don't give you a good feeling, and

31:32

I just kept driving, and that was my

31:34

experience. But after that,

31:37

when I would see him in town

31:40

and downtown, I started having flashes of

31:42

angel's face, and my

31:45

body would go ice cold. It was like

31:47

there was ice in my veins. And

31:49

then this went on for a while, and

31:52

he was always someone I just kept an eye on, like

31:55

because of that experience. You're kind

31:57

of tracking him a bit, yeah.

31:59

Since

32:01

that's happened, somebody spray-painted the word

32:03

Dittler on his van.

32:05

You know it was his van? His van,

32:07

yeah. Was he here both

32:10

there at the time? I don't believe so. Okay.

32:13

That's why I thought it was weird. Yeah.

32:16

Because he lived in Riverdale.

32:20

She gives me the man's name and

32:22

describes him. Did

32:25

you ever talk to police about him?

32:27

No. No. Yes.

32:45

Nice morning here. It's about, let's

32:48

see, 11 degrees Celsius. 9 a.m.

32:54

Saturday morning. The

32:56

Bel James. The

33:02

rest is the same.

33:09

No better time than the right now

33:11

to act on a tip. I'm

33:14

on my way to the house where the man allegedly

33:16

seen on Pilot Mountain by the tipster apparently

33:19

lives. I want to see if he knew

33:22

Angel, if he remembers the case, if

33:24

he has any knowledge or information that

33:26

might help, and see where it goes

33:28

from there. I've

33:31

gone by his house a couple of times

33:34

and it seems pretty

33:37

quiet. A

33:39

fine little house nestled

33:41

amidst other houses that are older

33:44

and more decrepit.

33:45

This house seems nicely

33:49

cared for. Fence

33:51

around it, manicured lawn, well-kept

33:55

truck in the driveway. This man

33:57

may own the house, may rent it.

34:00

I think

34:03

I'm going to park a little bit away

34:06

from the place. Walk

34:11

up so he doesn't know

34:14

what vehicle I came in. It's

34:16

a useful practice. See

34:23

what happens here. I'll

34:26

go to the front door. Honey

34:43

colored house. Good

34:56

morning.
