Hello, beloved listeners! It’s another long episode for us, but to be fair, we have a lot to discuss- this week, we’re covering a whole decade: The 80’s!
From Kids on Bikes, to Slashers, and every possible genre in between, the Sneople talk about how the decade was defined, possible reasons certain genres came into their own, and some of their favorites of the era. They also talk about the transitional periods from the 70’s into the 80’s and the 80’s into the 90’s, and what we started to see more less and more of in both those periods. They also get distracted more than once but that is not really unusual at this point, is it?
Also shout to John Carpenter for the 1000th time - this was a banger decade for you and also thanks for not suing Konami so they could keep making Metal Gear Solid and Matty could stream it (every Tuesday at twitch.tv/InfinityBreakGaming) with Producer Ben. God there are so many Snakes in those games and at least one IS based off of the Snake in Escape from New York, which, hell yeah.
