Founder and Managing Director of Isle Develop CIC, Rhoda Meek joins me today sharing the impact of a digital agency based on the Scottish Islands who reinvest their profits to support Scottish island entrepreneurs and groups in accessing essential digital resources. 

Rhoda’s sense of belonging and ancestral connection to where she lives includes running a small croft and two other businesses inspired by the local landscape, including Tiree Tea and The Angry Triangle, which specialise in island yarns and textiles.

During this episode, Rhoda shares how in lockdown she created Isle20.com to support local makers and businesses who were no longer able to access the tourist trade and the ‘etsy’ style website traded an extra £250,000 income for local businesses and is now about to go through a revamp for the post covid era.
