The entertainment industry can be an extremely toxic environment and people who have a "higher" title can feel like they have the right to take advantage of actors. You've heard of crazy stories where directors can make moves on talent, and ultimately make talent feel uncomfortable.

It's story time in this episode of Shannon The Slayer and although this happens in a doctor's office, it could very well happen on set, which is why I thought it was important to share this with you.

Sexual assault and intimidation is a real thing, and although we hope it will never happen while we are on-set, it could and it's important to always prepare yourself for any given scenario.
