This week on Scream Addicts, Jinx welcomes Andrew Merrill to the show!  The writer/director behind the upcoming horror film Rot,  Mr. Merrill has chosen David Cronenberg’s 1979 classic The Brood for discussion this week.

During our chat, Mr. Merrill discusses why he chose this particular Cronenberg for discussion, his thoughts on Mr. Cronenberg’s filmography as a whole, and whether or not he sees the filmmaker’s work as “cold and clinical”.  Along the way, he and Jinx discuss the shades of gray that form the film’s characters, his own upcoming feature film,  and…Oliver Reed’s last drunken hurrah?!  Again on this podcast?!
