Max and Fernando celebrated International Women's Day in the program, which is celebrated on March 8. Max gave some of the history of the holiday, from its international inceptions in the early part of the 20th century to its worldwide adoption in the 1970s, to its continuing relevance today. Max and Fernando paid tribute to some of the women in their lives, and Fernando read a short poem he had written. We rounded out the celebration of Women's day with some music from the U.S. folk singer, Barbara Dane.
