It's a big week when RHAP is

0:03

on the road in Chicago. Check out

0:05

my live show from Chicago. That's

0:08

going to be up on Thursday,

0:10

Wednesday night. Shannon Gus is going to

0:12

be live with you with Kelly

0:14

Wentworth after Survivor. And we preview

0:16

the Dondi finale with Dealer No

0:18

Deal Island host Joe Manganiello all

0:20

right here on RHAP. We

0:23

know reality TV. Hey

0:26

everybody, what's going on? Rob Cestornino.

0:28

I'm on the road here in

0:31

Chicago, the site of our biggest

0:33

RHAP live show ever. And

0:36

Wednesday night we had 950 people

0:38

at the Athenaeum Theatre. Really

0:40

fun panel. Watch the episode.

0:43

It was a good one to watch with

0:45

the big crowd. But it was a quick

0:47

turnaround here today for me to do this

0:49

exit interview with the woman that we saw

0:52

get voted out of Survivor in several of

0:54

place. Venus is

0:56

going to be joining us here

0:58

in just a moment for the

1:00

latest exit interview here. Of course,

1:02

Wednesday night, thanks to Shannon Gus

1:04

who held it down on the

1:07

Post Game Show with Kelly Wentworth.

1:09

Check that out. Of course, we

1:11

will be back tomorrow with Steven

1:13

Fishback for Survivor No Adult on

1:15

Friday this week. And

1:17

then I'll have the recording of the live show

1:20

up later in the day on Thursday. So make

1:22

sure you subscribe for all of that. This week

1:24

in Survivor history also coming up that I've

1:26

got Zach Wurtenberger this week

1:28

in Survivor history trivia with

1:31

today. So lots of stuff.

1:33

Make sure you're subscribed. Love

1:35

to hear what you have to say in the

1:37

comments and let's bring in my exit interview with

1:39

Venus. Venus, good

1:42

morning. So nice to

1:45

talk to you. Now, Venus, you

1:47

didn't win the million dollars,

1:49

but you may have won

1:52

a million hearts. So congratulations

1:54

for that, Venus. Thank

1:56

you so much. It means so much coming from you.

2:00

Venus, so what a ride

2:02

it's been. I would love to get

2:04

into some of this stuff. I would

2:06

love to start with your conversation with

2:08

Charlie when you were talking

2:10

to him. Can you tell us from

2:12

your perspective, what were you hoping that

2:14

Charlie would take away from that conversation?

2:20

I was very misguided at the moment,

2:22

but what I was hoping was, because

2:24

we had a lot of conversations leading

2:26

up to that one throughout the game,

2:29

I was hoping that I

2:31

was able to finally find

2:33

someone I could trust in this game.

2:35

Like, you could see me throughout

2:37

the season try and fail to form

2:39

an alliance with people and either they

2:42

get medevaced or they just stop talking to

2:44

me or they just think

2:46

I'm a shady bitch. But

2:48

what I was hoping with Charlie was, this

2:51

is my chance to actually

2:53

form a bond with someone

2:56

and to, like, Survivor

2:58

is not a solo game.

3:01

People forget that. It's a multiplayer game. Like,

3:03

you need to work with others if you

3:05

actually expect to win in the end. And

3:07

so I was really hoping that this would be

3:09

a turning point for me where I could actually,

3:11

you know, garner someone's trust for once and

3:14

convince them that I'm not this sneaky person. I'm

3:16

just a very loyal person. And I really did

3:18

want to work with him. And my

3:20

intentions were to use this

3:22

thing up my sleeve for the both of

3:24

us, but obviously he ultimately didn't read it

3:26

that way. But I see that now. Yeah.

3:30

I feel like you're probably a fiercely

3:32

loyal person because if somebody would

3:34

have put their trust in you,

3:36

I feel like you would never turn on that person. Never,

3:39

never. Honestly, going into the game, that

3:41

was my strategy. I just needed one

3:44

right or no. I just needed one person to

3:46

trust me and I would

3:48

have gone to the end with them. I never

3:50

would have, like, stopped in the back. And also,

3:52

like, speaking about trust, even though my fellow namis

3:55

disliked me so much, even during

3:57

the immersion onwards, before each of their vote-outs

3:59

sold out. I

4:01

had a conversation with them again prior

4:03

to their elimination saying like, hey, I still

4:05

really want to work with you. I

4:08

know you don't like me, but I still really want to work with you. But

4:11

ultimately, they did not trust me. So

4:13

yes, I am a seriously loyal person.

4:16

Yeah. Venus, help me

4:18

out here because I, as

4:21

a viewer, need

4:23

to know that do you

4:25

feel like the vote changed after you

4:27

talked to Charlie or was it going

4:29

in that direction anyway and you talking

4:33

to Charlie didn't change anything? No,

4:35

no, no. It left 100%

4:37

mad conversation in my big mouth. It

4:40

really sunk my game. If I

4:42

hadn't had that conversation with Charlie because it

4:45

was really close to tribal, if I just

4:47

didn't say anything to him, it would have

4:49

been cute. It would have been

4:51

cute. I guess that conversation

4:53

had greeted more insecurity than trust between

4:56

me and Charlie. And ultimately,

4:58

he did what was best for his game. Looking

5:01

back on it now, I can see it from his

5:03

perspective. For me, it was like, here is something

5:06

we can use together. But for him, it

5:08

was like, here is a new uncertainty in

5:10

my game that can prevent me from winning.

5:13

So that is something that I can see now looking back.

5:16

Why do you feel like you were

5:18

the target at the final seven? Do

5:20

you feel like it was for strategic

5:22

reasons or was it a personality clash?

5:26

It was not, can I tell you? It

5:29

was the stupidest vote they could have possibly

5:31

done. It was the stupidest vote. And as

5:34

much as people think, oh,

5:36

she's arrogant, she's delusional, she thinks she's running the game.

5:39

You know what my pitch was to people on the island? It

5:41

was, everyone hates me. No one

5:43

trusts me. No one will vote for me

5:45

in the end. Take me with you. You

5:48

see me as your shield. Which

5:51

is it? Is it Venus can't win or

5:53

we have to get rid of her now?

5:55

Which is it? Can't be both. Pick a

5:57

Lane, God Damn it. Pick A Lane, Stick to it. It

6:00

was very frustrating because in my mind

6:02

as soon as that way I'm just

6:04

speaking to like the mentality in the

6:06

game at that point is you. Would

6:09

have made us to the and about when

6:11

we all thought it was obvious to me

6:13

at least as you would win because to

6:16

be able to cause a cloud of confusion

6:18

so many times wrote this that police in

6:20

our speech a lot to do isn't process

6:22

whether we like it or not. It's impressive

6:25

that he's been able to pull it off

6:27

so on as he was a huge miscalculation

6:29

on their parts of both. Nice compared to

6:31

hand is yeah that was at a greater

6:34

chance of winning in the ends and I

6:36

ever did south of I thought I was

6:38

stupid Bell. And they should have kept me. Because

6:42

skills most I saw that challenge or

6:44

what we the guy who was so

6:46

it's hands so dramatic good look like

6:48

you had a it's to or something

6:51

different times on a man versus how

6:53

long you that's hates or with that

6:55

an hour that you guys were doing

6:57

that. I'm. He had felt like

7:00

ages. a really dead by as I've.

7:04

Said. Many times I don't know what

7:07

it is. I forgot how to use

7:09

my hand last second, but. Now.

7:11

That sounds it's not like cyber. I

7:14

enjoy the Salah. Challenge yourself, fun, spare

7:16

me And even when I lost that

7:18

the and I had a big pile

7:20

of my face House is excited like

7:22

you sound that involves. A. Lot

7:24

of energy. He was a lot of like

7:26

running and heavy lifting. Alex is it something

7:28

I could do? Ah so I was very

7:31

happy to do something like that. Be.

7:33

As you tell me what was

7:35

the reaction when you got the

7:37

Ponderosa and Bears soda and have

7:39

him and hunter or that at

7:41

various points are you know you

7:43

Israel has your of you know

7:46

back and forth with so hard

7:48

his as they receive you at

7:50

Ponderosa. A on

7:52

some I love to be right. Place

7:55

honestly? i

7:57

was terrified going to ponderosa because

8:00

all these people hate me, but

8:03

I was calmed

8:05

down by the fact that the game is the game and

8:08

now we're outside of the game, so hopefully they don't hold

8:11

any grudges towards me. I was very

8:13

disappointed with the fact that when I

8:15

did get to Ponderosa, a

8:17

few of them did not even come

8:19

up to greet me, continued to

8:21

not speak to me, continued to not make eye contact

8:24

with me. I

8:26

made several attempts to bury

8:28

the hatchet and to make

8:31

amends and extend an olive

8:33

fringe, and it was met

8:35

with a very negative reception, which I

8:37

don't think was warranted. As

8:39

much as you might dislike me, I never come

8:41

with malicious intentions. I really am trying to put

8:43

my best foot forward, but

8:46

the only setting grace at Ponderosa

8:48

was playing Scrabble with Hunter and

8:50

then eating cereal and watching Avatar

8:52

in the morning. So that really

8:54

is, that was my only

8:56

peaceful moment there. Yeah. Okay,

8:59

at Tribal Council, you and Q went

9:02

back and forth also. Was that the

9:04

first time that you two had kind

9:06

of gotten into it or had there

9:08

been other conversations with Q like that?

9:11

There are other conversations, can I tell you, Q? He

9:15

was projecting like crazy, because as much

9:17

as he likes to say that Venus

9:19

can't be trusted, she's sneaking, she's running

9:21

around everywhere, he was the one saying

9:23

that. He was

9:25

the one breathing life into that

9:27

line, telling everyone that, when in

9:29

reality, he was telling on himself. Q

9:32

was doing all that. Q was creating

9:34

chaos, running around, talking shit and telling

9:36

lies about conversations I had. Yeah,

9:40

no, I'm so glad I told

9:42

him to like shut his mouth in that moment in

9:44

Tribal, because he was talking a load of crap. He

9:46

was talking out of his butt and I was just

9:48

sick of it. Him and Maria,

9:50

sick of it. Yeah. All

9:53

right, Venus, I'd love to hear from

9:55

you that you have the

9:57

opportunity to finally tell your story. side

10:00

of the story on a lot of these

10:02

things. And it didn't seem like that you

10:04

were frustrated with how things were shown to

10:06

the audience over the course of the season.

10:09

So do you feel like that they

10:11

portrayed your story accurately? And if not,

10:13

what what do did we not see

10:15

on the show? Oh,

10:18

OK. And it's so it's so

10:20

weird to think about it because obviously you're

10:22

presented as a character in the show. Ultimately,

10:24

you're a caricature of yourself. I'm

10:27

not going to I'm not

10:29

going to say that it was a completely inaccurate

10:31

portrayal. Obviously, it's without context.

10:34

I feel like it did show both

10:37

my positive traits and my flaws. And

10:42

ultimately, I'm very grateful

10:44

for the experience because whether you like it or

10:46

not, even the negative parts

10:48

of you shown on TV, it

10:51

has a negative truth. And it's something that you

10:53

can either take on the chin and try to

10:55

learn from and grow from or deny wholly. And

10:59

I what I find very upsetting is

11:01

that there's certain people who look at their

11:03

edits and see the way they treated

11:05

me and are upset

11:08

at me about the edits. These

11:10

people feel as though they were unfairly

11:12

presented when in reality, they should acknowledge

11:14

the fact that they did those things

11:16

to me. They were very rude

11:18

and cruel to me. And they should own up

11:20

to that and learn from it and grow from

11:22

it. And I'm not someone to hold grudges. Like

11:24

if any one of those people who treated me

11:26

poorly just said, hey, Nina, I'm sorry,

11:29

you didn't deserve that much hate, I

11:31

would move on from it. But the

11:33

fact that some people are taking it

11:37

as if it's

11:39

inaccurate portrayal, they really

11:42

horribly cruel to me and that they didn't

11:45

isolate me and stop talking to me and

11:47

ostracized me on an island where I had no

11:49

one else to speak to. That

11:51

is what really grinds my gears because like,

11:53

show some humanity, OK, we're all people

11:56

at the end of the day. Nothing is

11:58

that serious. It helps no one. game

12:00

to just disregard someone

12:02

completely and their existence. So I'm

12:05

very upset with that. But in

12:07

terms of my story, I

12:11

just wish that people

12:13

understood that a lot of where

12:15

I'm coming from and being so outspoken

12:18

is not from a place of arrogance

12:20

or cockiness. I

12:22

was aware that I would go

12:24

further by keeping my mouth shut. But the reason

12:26

I'm on the show is to represent the women

12:29

of Iran. They don't have

12:31

the privilege to speak freely. I

12:33

have that privilege. And the last thing I'm

12:35

going to do is censor myself or remove

12:37

my agency in this game because I have a

12:39

voice too. And I was sure as hell going

12:41

to use it. And I'm glad I did. Yeah.

12:44

And you had those poignant final

12:46

words at the end of the

12:48

episode. And it was

12:51

really, really well done. And I'm

12:53

sure your family is very proud.

12:56

Yes, they are. Honestly, I didn't know they

12:58

were going to include that. I'm so grateful

13:00

they did. I burst into tears when I

13:02

watched the episode and I heard myself say

13:05

those words, it means a lot. People don't

13:07

understand how much it means the conversation. And

13:10

it really warms my heart. So I'm happy. I

13:13

want to ask you a little bit about

13:15

your relationship with Kenzie because it seemed like

13:17

for a minute there last night, it was

13:19

like, oh, all right. This is something Venus

13:21

and Kenzie. But at the end of the

13:23

day, even Kenzie was one of the people

13:25

that wrote your name down what went wrong.

13:29

Charlie told them that I have an advantage and

13:31

she didn't believe it because she saw my little

13:33

my acting where I was like looking for the

13:35

idol. But there's like no way Venus has an

13:37

idol. It's me. But

13:39

ultimately, Charlie swayed the votes. He

13:42

had control on both sides. I think

13:44

people are really underestimating the power Charlie

13:46

has. He's playing a very quiet game,

13:48

which is impressive. But,

13:51

yeah, I found it. Can I just say

13:54

it's very telling in the episode when Kenzie

13:56

said the only person who has

13:58

lied to me is Venus of all. people

14:00

like no, no,

14:02

babe. Like, of course I like that is

14:04

such a character assassination that everyone thought I

14:06

was a big fat lying liar because I'm the

14:09

most direct and honest out of all of

14:11

you. Like, I want to tell you how

14:13

it is. And it was

14:15

just it was a little bit of redeeming to

14:17

hear her talk positively about me because you

14:19

just need to talk to me for more

14:21

than a few minutes to realize I'm very

14:24

chill. Okay. Venus,

14:26

real quick. Would you play survivor again?

14:30

I mean, statistically, the chances are so

14:32

low, but I don't know. Let's see. I

14:36

didn't ask will you? I said, would you? Would

14:39

I? Will

14:42

other people from season 46 be there? It's

14:45

not my call. Yeah. I

14:49

would love to. Ultimately, this is

14:51

a great platform, but it would

14:53

have to be for the right reasons. The last thing I would

14:55

want to do is go to feed my

14:57

ego. So, yeah. Well,

15:02

Venus, you were very fun to

15:04

watch, very fun to talk to today. And

15:07

so let me just be the very

15:09

first person to wish

15:12

you happy Mother's Day, Venus.

15:17

Because I am mother. That's right. Thank

15:21

you so much. My

15:24

cat, my only son is very grateful.

15:26

So, yes. Yes. Okay.

15:28

Venus, great to talk

15:30

to you. Hope we can chat again soon. Okay. Yes,

15:33

definitely. Thank you so much. All right. Take care,

15:35

Venus. Bye. Take care. All

15:38

right. Everybody is there. You have

15:40

it. Venus of Waffa and Venus

15:42

was such an interesting character. He's

15:44

in really that she would have

15:46

been if they would have put

15:48

her on big brother. I mean,

15:50

I just think that she would

15:52

be maybe an all

15:56

timer on that show as well.

15:58

Especially with the live feeds. People

16:00

love to follow what Venus

16:02

is doing. She has this

16:05

story with her tribe that she never

16:08

really fit in. And then at the

16:10

merge, it continued with Rook Q and

16:12

Maria. And it just seemed like that

16:15

there was so much friction there and

16:18

as a survivor viewer, we love to

16:20

see it. And hopefully we'll get to

16:22

talk more with Venus down

16:24

the road. But for

16:27

us, we've got Zach

16:29

Wortenberger. And this week in Survivor History,

16:31

coming up right after this.

16:37

Some people just know there's a better way to do things,

16:41

like bundling your home and auto insurance with

16:43

Austin. Or going to the

16:45

grocery store for milk instead of buying your own cow.

16:49

You know there's an easier and better way.

16:52

Save up to 25% when you bundle

16:54

home and auto with Austin. Bundled

16:57

savings vary by state and are not available in every state.

17:00

It's the countrywide average of the maximum available savings

17:02

off the home policy. All state vehicle and property insurance

17:05

company and affiliates Northbrook, Illinois. All

17:08

right, we're back for some

17:10

tWish. And back with

17:12

us once again. No spoilers

17:14

because he's not caught up on Milk

17:16

Manor. It's Jordan Kalish. Jordan, how are you?

17:19

I'm doing great. Just

17:21

coming off a wedding this

17:24

weekend. I was the best man. I gave a speech.

17:27

And I'm back here as one of the

17:29

three best men. How did your speech go?

17:32

Went over pretty well via the

17:34

parents of the bride and groom liked it. The bride

17:36

and groom liked it. So I think it was a

17:38

success. What was the runtime on the speech? So

17:42

there were actually two best men at this wedding. And

17:44

I think the total runtime between the two of us

17:46

was about six to seven minutes. OK, all right, got

17:48

to keep it tight. OK, so here

17:51

with us, one of my faves

17:53

is back to take me on this

17:56

week in Survivor History trivia. We're taking

17:58

on all of the tWish. Titans of

18:00

the new era. Here is Zach

18:02

Wernberger. Thank

18:05

you, Rob. I'm so excited to be here.

18:07

I'm so excited. I mean,

18:09

now that 50's announced, I'm so excited to

18:11

really look back at Survivor history. Oh my

18:13

God. Talk about some

18:16

of my favorites. Talk about some of my favorite

18:18

players of all time and people I might one

18:20

day see out there, you know?

18:22

Like just really. Zach, is there

18:24

any extra pressure that you could

18:27

like trip up on a question

18:29

and then be on a tribe

18:31

with the person that you very

18:34

clearly insult by your lack of

18:36

memory about their particular journey? No,

18:40

no, because I'm not gonna slip up on any

18:42

questions. I'm ready for Guatemala, I'm

18:44

ready for Fiji, I'm ready for, you

18:46

know. When they bring Lydia back, like

18:51

I'm gonna be there and I'm gonna say like, hey, I

18:54

remember what you did in episode 11. Yeah,

18:56

Jordan, Danny Bowright broke

18:58

the Guatemala curse when she

19:00

became the first original

19:02

Guatemala player to return to Survivor in season

19:05

40. Well, I wonder who will be for

19:07

season 50. I mean,

19:09

maybe a judge, maybe a Gary Hawkins, whoa,

19:11

goo, goo, boom, I could see something like

19:14

that. And if Zach, if

19:16

you, if you're getting any of these, yeah,

19:18

if Zach's getting any of these like these

19:21

out there Guatemala questions, right? You might have

19:24

a future tribe made of his saying, big

19:26

mistake. Okay.

19:30

I wonder if the Guatemala cast is gonna

19:32

check this out. I don't know which the

19:34

regular viewership is on Twitch. I

19:36

know. Is Brian Corden listening to

19:38

this? I

19:41

think that he's, now that he's been mentioned, I'm sure

19:43

it will be forwarded to him. Yes,

19:45

this video will be tweeted by Brian Corden. So Brian,

19:47

hello, hello. Yes, all right. Brian,

19:49

I'm a huge fan, I love your work.

19:52

In Guatemala, fellow pre-merger, you

19:54

know. Maybe they'll put both of us out

19:57

there. A Blake was gold,

19:59

Brian. Yes, all right. All right, so

20:01

last week I

20:03

narrowly edged out

20:06

Evie. It

20:08

was the tightest twitch of the

20:10

season, but by some miracle,

20:12

I pulled it out. So this week, the prize

20:14

pot, I believe, is back up to $200. And

20:18

Zach, we are playing for a charity of

20:21

your choosing. Yeah,

20:24

I got to do, you

20:26

know, keep it in the CBS family. I'm going

20:28

to donate to Shannon Elizabeth's Elephant

20:31

Fund. No, I'm

20:33

not going to do that. No,

20:36

let's do, I'll

20:38

donate to the National

20:41

Breast Cancer Foundation. Okay,

20:43

all right. On the

20:46

family before, so let's, you

20:48

know, support that. Okay, a

20:50

great cause. And so $200

20:52

on the line from

20:56

yours truly, if Zach

20:58

can beat me out for this

21:01

week of Survivor History. And Jordan, we're

21:03

going to talk about, okay, episode 11, famous

21:06

episode 11. Yes, famous

21:08

episode 11 from Survivor History. And

21:11

the seasons that I have prepared

21:13

for you are Marquesas, Pearl Islands,

21:15

Exile Island, Fiji 41 and 43.

21:19

And we're off to a strong start because

21:21

I listed the seasons in chronological order this

21:24

time. Okay, all right.

21:26

Zach, of course, it's customary for the

21:28

guests to go first. Okay,

21:33

episode 11. Let's

21:37

do, I guess we'll start new era. I guess we'll

21:40

start 43. All right. So

21:44

Survivor 43, when Cody found the Choose

21:46

Your Champion advantage, allowing him to become

21:48

immune if he correctly predicted who would

21:51

win the next immunity challenge, who did

21:53

he select? Um,

21:58

I believe he selected B-b-b-b-boo,

22:00

ooh, okay, well I know he got

22:02

it correct, and I know he was

22:04

safe there. So that means it was

22:07

either Owen or Carla. I

22:09

guess I shouldn't be saying this out loud, but I

22:12

figure Rob already knows that. I'm

22:15

pretty sure that it's Owen. Owen

22:20

was one of the winners of the last

22:22

guest community challenge. The other one, like you

22:24

said, was Carla. Cody selected Owen,

22:26

so you were correct, and was immune

22:28

himself. The three people in that round

22:31

were immune from the

22:33

choosier champion and from the double

22:35

immunity winners. So Zach, you start

22:37

strong, two points there, and Owen

22:39

is a Twitch contestant, a fellow

22:42

Twitch contestant. So yeah, get to

22:44

see him win. A Twitch loser.

22:46

That's true, a Twitch loser, but maybe a returning

22:49

player at some point. Getting to be knowing,

22:51

getting, getting. Yeah, a lot of Owen's great. Choosier

22:53

champion, very happy to see it was a one

22:55

and done. Yeah, not my

22:57

favorite advantage in the new era. Not

23:00

my least favorite either, but it's one that I don't think we need to

23:02

really bring back. Who do you think of

23:04

those three players should I invest the most time

23:06

in over the next year and a half? Between

23:08

Carla and Owen. Oh, okay, Carla. What do you

23:10

think, like? I mean, I feel like they're all in

23:12

the running. Yeah. Yeah,

23:15

Cody's a little bit of a dark horse. I feel like I

23:17

don't hear his name a lot as an All-Star, but I do

23:19

feel like that he was probably a production

23:21

fave. I think I

23:23

might really start pre-gaming with Cody. I think he

23:25

is. Because I feel

23:27

like no one's picked him up yet. Like, that could

23:29

be a good one. Okay.

23:33

All right, I'm going to go with, give me

23:35

Pearl Islands. All right, so

23:37

Pearl Islands, we're going far back in

23:40

Survivor history to a very famous episode

23:42

of Pearl Islands, maybe potentially the most

23:44

famous episode in Survivor history. Fair

23:47

play and his buddy Thunder D infamously

23:49

won the loved ones challenge after the

23:51

dead Gramelai. But which survivors loved one

23:53

was the last one to walk the

23:55

plank coming in second place. You

24:01

don't have to say the loved one's name. It's just the survivor. Right.

24:08

This is a tough question. I'm

24:12

not going to say ask for multiple choice because I

24:14

know the people who are there. Hmm.

24:19

The last person left.

24:24

This is a pretty

24:27

tough question. Yes.

24:33

I knew it was the Dead Grandma

24:35

episode. I said, okay,

24:37

I felt like this is an episode I know pretty well.

24:40

But who did Thunder D, Edge Out, I

24:44

guess, Frida

24:48

or something. For

24:54

some reason, I feel like it was

24:58

Dara's boyfriend. Dara's

25:01

boyfriend is not

25:03

correct. You

25:07

get to steal. You don't get the multiple choice. It's only

25:09

for one point if you get it right. So

25:12

it was, I can speak it out loud now,

25:14

it's not Dara. It's not fair

25:16

play. I know it's not Sandra. Lil,

25:21

Tijuana, Krista,

25:23

and Burton. I

25:28

think it was Tijuana. Tijuana

25:31

is unfortunately incorrect as well. So Burton

25:33

was the one who got to make

25:35

the decision of do

25:38

I send this person in the water? Or do

25:40

I let Fair Play see his

25:42

buddy Thunder D? And he sent

25:44

Lil's husband into the water. So Lil's was the

25:46

second place in the challenge. Neither

25:49

of you get a point there, but it is now

25:51

Zach's question. Bad spot for Rapsin.

25:56

It was Marquesis, Exile. Fiji

26:00

and 41. I gotta

26:02

go 41. Sorry for the

26:04

the new era haters, but I

26:07

gotta lock this money down. Hey, you you are

26:09

of the new era. It makes sense that you're

26:11

going to the new era. It makes me feel

26:13

better. 41 is the the

26:17

one I know the least by absolutely far.

26:20

Before your before your time. Before

26:23

my time, exactly. Yeah. So who was

26:25

voted out at the tribal council in

26:27

which Deshaun saved himself by picking the

26:29

correct do or die box. That

26:35

I hate more than the choose your champion.

26:38

How did how did Rob's question be like,

26:40

who was the last person eliminated in this

26:42

reward? In a reward challenge. Right. In the

26:44

most famous reward challenge in survivor history. My

26:46

question was who got voted out sevens? Who

26:51

got voted out there? It was Liana. Liana

26:53

is correct. So without the multiple choice, you

26:55

get two more points. That is a four

26:58

zero lead. Two sets

27:00

of questions for when I pick the category.

27:04

You think I'm spending my time writing. So

27:10

that is act with a big lead.

27:12

Rob, you have Marquesis. Okay.

27:15

I think I'm in a

27:17

I can't even get anything wrong. I think at

27:19

this point. Yeah,

27:21

you can definitely get my questions right and

27:24

need help. Okay. So I'm going to go

27:26

to Marquesis. Go to the Marquesis. All

27:28

right. So Rob is Rob is going

27:31

back to the very old school, the

27:33

single digits. Which players celebrated their birthday

27:35

at the survivor Marquesis final seven? Celebrate

27:41

their birthday at the final Marquesis

27:43

final seven. I do

27:48

not recall this. I

27:50

think like which contestant

27:52

from Marquesis had their birthday around

27:55

the time it was no. Okay. That's a good

27:57

way to do it. For

27:59

some reason, I'm feeling like did

28:04

I won't

28:06

I feel like that maybe it was was

28:08

it uh did

28:12

the sepia have her birthday so

28:15

the sepia the winner of

28:17

the season was serenaded

28:19

by her her friend Sean Rector it was

28:21

her birthday and that's why it was so

28:24

controversial when when the Leah was picked to

28:26

go on the reward and brought back the

28:28

mint because everyone thought that that Pascal should

28:30

have taken the sepia Rob you get two

28:33

points so it is a four to two

28:35

game Zach you could ice it here

28:37

if you if you get a two-pointer I believe even

28:39

if you get a one pointer I'm not I don't

28:41

really know math but I'm pretty sure that would be

28:43

true as well there are only

28:46

two questions left exile island or Fiji

28:48

all right I definitely

28:51

wouldn't have gotten that one although I might have just guess

28:53

me just based on her birthday

28:55

yeah what her birthday is right

28:58

that would help God we're survivor

29:00

birthdays and you need them mm-hmm

29:02

I'm gonna go exile all right

29:04

exile islands when Bruce Kanagai became

29:06

the first survivor Bruce to get

29:08

medevaced how many people including Bruce

29:10

were in the game at that

29:12

point okay

29:16

well I okay well I know

29:18

the answer to this so let

29:20

me ask this let me ask you this Rob actually

29:24

is there is this like

29:27

a new era survivor is there room to

29:29

negotiate here I think

29:31

self rope is a negotiation

29:33

okay how about this Rob new

29:36

era of twitch I

29:39

will throw this question yeah and

29:41

you the chance to

29:44

tie it up okay I go to the tiebreak

29:46

okay if if

29:48

I win right you rise to $250 for the chair ooh never before

29:58

I haven't seen the strategy yeah Um,

30:02

sure. Let's go. Let's go open the

30:04

door. Okay.

30:06

Okay. All

30:09

right. Zach, what is your, what is

30:11

your answer? I mean, be clear though.

30:13

I can't, I can't, I'm not going to answer this wrong

30:15

and then Rob isn't going to be able to

30:17

take the answer at right. And then I'm ice

30:19

out. You're not going to screw over to breast

30:22

cancer. Like, no, right. Rob? No, I would never.

30:25

Okay. All right.

30:27

The deal is locked in. Yes. Okay.

30:31

I have no clue what this question is. So I'm going to

30:33

guess that it's. Oh, you were bluffing.

30:35

You'd really didn't know the answer. No,

30:39

I know it. It's seven, but

30:41

I'm not answering that. I'm going to answer six. Six

30:45

is incorrect. Yes. Okay.

30:47

Um, yeah, because I mean, I also

30:49

like, this is also like, we've talked

30:51

about, like, uh, these other episode 11s

30:54

have seven people in it. And,

30:56

um, of course, famously, uh, the next

30:58

episode is Siri doing three, two, one.

31:00

And Bruce isn't there. So, you know,

31:02

it's not six. So yeah,

31:04

seven. No, this was a

31:06

pretty, uh, pretty easy one. The

31:09

thing is for me that like the thing I know

31:11

best in survivor is like the boot

31:13

lists, like who wins where it's

31:15

the like nitty gritty of the rewards and stuff

31:17

that I was really worried about. So the fact

31:19

that the question was like,

31:22

basically what place did Bruce get? Um,

31:25

you know, I was going to get that. Yeah. All

31:27

right. So Rob, you, you do steal a

31:29

point, uh, which means that this,

31:31

this, uh, we are at a point right now

31:33

where Zach is up for the sale of, we

31:35

said that it was, uh, what

31:38

was the deal? Oh, I,

31:40

I understood it as that Zach was going

31:42

to intentionally tank the question and that I

31:44

was going to have an opportunity to steal.

31:48

That's what I heard. No.

31:51

So that we were throwing that question away so that

31:53

you would have the opportunity to tie it up, not

31:56

steal the question. Okay.

31:59

All right. Yeah. But did say you

32:01

threw the question as

32:03

the impartial judge what

32:08

was your interpretation on that has no idea what's going

32:10

on Rob and I on the same side

32:14

of it five four Rob would have to

32:16

now this is Rob's question Rob would have

32:26

to so basically Rob would then go back into

32:28

the recording and see what we said that's

32:31

what I said I said originally

32:33

that you can't just take this answer we're gonna

32:35

have to go to the recording so I think

32:37

Rob would you would have to do if

32:39

you want to if the rest cancer if

32:41

Rob wants to honor his his promise to

32:43

breast cancer awareness he would have to take

32:45

multiple choice and then get it right but

32:47

then if he gets it wrong that you

32:49

are let me hear the question let me

32:51

hear the question before we're all

32:54

right so this is this is getting a little

32:56

messy here this never happened before before on Twitch

32:58

so it's kind of smooth sailing okay

33:00

whose bag did Mookie and Alex go through

33:02

angering the rest of their tribe for the

33:04

invasion of privacy this is a survivor Fiji

33:07

all right well all right this is I

33:09

feel like a rather easy

33:12

question and they

33:14

went through yeah man's bag yeah

33:17

so that is true so

33:20

I feel exactly I

33:23

think so I feel dirty it

33:25

feels dirty Rob you should have

33:27

got all right fine okay fine

33:29

then let's negotiate all right we

33:31

can we have room to negotiate

33:33

here I think we should if

33:35

I forfeit one of my points

33:37

to go with tiebreaker we'll go back

33:39

down to 200 what about this what

33:42

is that if so we'll go what if we

33:44

go to a tiebreaker what if if Zach loses

33:46

he has to donate $250 to breast cancer okay

33:49

all right all right fine

33:51

because all right

33:55

because I'm so fond of Zach I

33:58

will say okay let's go a

34:00

tiebreaker okay we gotta

34:02

we gotta check the tape on this is

34:04

gonna the comments are gonna be yes this

34:08

is messy wild

34:10

okay I this is

34:12

why I see why Jeff nice

34:14

to these negotiations now this

34:17

is a if I lose this

34:19

this is gonna be like the

34:21

most humiliating twist game in survivor

34:23

history yeah you will be

34:25

asking questions about this game I think you're

34:27

I think you're right this might be the

34:30

the worst strategic move but maybe like the best

34:32

move in terms of like getting more money for

34:34

charity and survivor history if you win so I

34:36

think I think that there that you can look

34:38

at it from that angle could be like are

34:40

we saying right in back of twitch are

34:43

we saying we're tied five to four right or four

34:45

to exactly gave up the immunity necklace and

34:47

now he's on the ropes that's

34:50

what it sounds like so what so are we are you're taking

34:52

one point for this PG question

34:55

that you think the way I understand

34:58

it was that

35:00

I was going to get it wrong

35:02

and then you were going to get

35:04

it wrong oh I thought that you

35:06

were you were

35:09

going to you were

35:12

not going to answer the question giving me

35:14

a chance and I could have potentially you

35:16

really screwed it up and not even gotten

35:18

that question right but you did say

35:21

the answer yes I

35:23

could have locked it down there but I was like you

35:25

know what all right let's go to it

35:27

let's go to overtime again

35:29

so Rob is Rob is taking one point

35:32

for the Fiji question we are tied four

35:34

to four officially and we have talked about

35:36

the fact that we've talked about a lot

35:39

of a lot of us seventh placers here

35:41

on this weekend's history so we're gonna do

35:43

the random season generator game I am going

35:45

to give you a season from one to

35:48

forty five that happened to

35:50

be the thing that Zach said he

35:52

knows best in survivor history is earlier

35:54

in this very conversation is actually what

35:56

I had prepared and had a tiebreaker this time

35:58

I got some flat from you last week

36:01

for coming up with it on the

36:03

spot, even though I kind of knew that I was

36:05

going to go to first jurors if there is going

36:07

to be one. It wasn't concrete. This time it was

36:09

actually concrete. So I am going to my random number

36:12

generator. I'm putting in one to 45. By

36:16

the way, for a game

36:18

like this, if a redemption

36:21

island or like winners or like a exile

36:23

BS comes up, I just skip it. So

36:25

like, we're not going to do any crazy

36:27

seasons where it's hard to remember because of

36:29

the people coming back. So we're going to

36:31

go to Zach first. We are somehow tied

36:33

four to four. Who was

36:35

the 17th? That's not 17. Not

36:37

the seven. The seventh place or

36:40

seventh place or survivor 20.

36:43

That is heroes versus villains. Okay.

36:46

Let me just make sure I don't screw

36:48

this up. Yeah,

36:51

I'm not going to stop. This is Danielle. Danielle

36:55

Di Lorenzo was the seventh

36:57

place. Congratulations,

37:00

Zach. You get one point. Just double checking.

37:03

Just double checking. Look at the Wikipedia. Zach

37:05

is right. Zach, you were winning five before.

37:08

Okay. I'm pretty good at

37:10

the placements too. I feel like the placements is

37:12

my strong point too. I just didn't want any

37:14

like, Kayla's math coming up. I am looking at

37:16

the list. I feel like Rob

37:18

is good at this too though. So it's really going to come down

37:21

to who gets like one of the... I'm okay at it. Okay.

37:25

You know, there's a real like,

37:27

you know, expiration date of when

37:29

I know the placements for. Okay?

37:31

Yeah. All right. All

37:34

right, Rob, we are going to

37:37

survivor ghost island seventh place. I'm

37:46

going to say it is... I'm

37:58

going to say it's Callan. So,

38:01

Kellen Bechtold has been on this Week in

38:03

Survivor history before, and she is

38:05

also the correct answer to this question. So, Rob,

38:07

you stay alive here. I didn't know Kellen or

38:09

Purple Chelsea or like a... Yeah,

38:12

Chelsea was eight. Yeah.

38:15

Okay. All right. So, we are going

38:17

to now go to our next season. Clicking

38:20

on the randomizer. We have season 17, Survivor

38:22

Gabon. Severalteen.

38:25

Severalteen. Oh. Seven

38:29

Placer, Survivor Gabon. That's

38:32

a pain. That one's a pain. Earth's

38:34

last eaten. Okay. Let

38:37

me go. Let me go.

38:40

It's Bob, Susie, Sugar,

38:42

Maddie, then Ken

38:46

is Fith. Okay.

38:53

So, now we've got Crystal, Corinne,

38:55

and Randy all around

38:59

there. I

39:02

know Randy is eighth.

39:04

I'm almost certain of that. So,

39:09

then that makes sense to me that it would be Randy

39:12

and then Corinne and then

39:14

Crystal. Sounds right to me. So, I'm

39:16

going to go Corinne. Corinne Kaplan

39:18

is correct. Zach, you are up 65. Good

39:22

job. Good job. That one did

39:24

not feel good for me. That

39:26

was a good one. Good logic

39:28

here, Rob. This might be a tough one. We

39:31

are at Survivor Nicaragua.

39:35

Seven Placer. Oh, well, and now is this

39:37

also, are we getting into like the

39:40

quits territory here? We

39:46

don't skip seasons with quits. I

39:49

swear to God, if it's like I

39:52

have to know the order of who

39:54

quit between Purple Kelly and N'Nyanka, like.

39:58

I've got a coin here. I'll pay

40:00

the money to the breast

40:02

cancer charity but also

40:04

Jordan you're fired after this week, okay?

40:07

Okay. All

40:10

right. So to

40:14

go to Württemberger it here,

40:16

okay, of course we have,

40:18

you know, Fabio and Chase

40:23

and Sash and then

40:27

Holly and then Dan

40:29

Lembo is five

40:32

and then

40:34

was Benry sixth place and

40:37

then I think they had a

40:39

long episode and then I think you

40:42

son of a bitch I think it is I'm gonna

40:45

say that I gotta say

40:47

seventh place is Purple

40:50

Kelly. So

40:52

Purple Kelly was the

40:54

second person who quit. Nayanca did

40:56

go first so technically they are

40:59

in that order where Purple

41:01

Kelly went after. The seventh placer

41:03

on that season though you did say his

41:06

name was Benry so the quits actually did

41:08

not affect the placement there. Yeah.

41:10

Oh, Gene's right. Gene was six,

41:12

Benry was seven so the quits

41:14

did not really affect you the

41:16

seventh. Yeah I was guessing. I

41:18

was guessing Purple Kelly there. So

41:20

Zach it paid off somehow

41:23

you win by a score of

41:25

six to five. Congratulations. Congratulations to

41:27

Zach. Thank you Rob. Thank you

41:29

for playing with honor.

41:31

Yes. Thank you. Yes.

41:36

You know I was thinking before last week we had our

41:39

longest week with Evy and I was like this is gonna

41:41

be the shortest week with Zach because we were like 12

41:43

minutes in and Zach was up 4-0. I

41:45

mean now we're at 24 minutes. We have doubled

41:47

our time with all the deal making,

41:49

the wheeling and dealing. Everybody's so happy.

41:51

You want to, if you want to,

41:54

uh Rob, double or nothing on the Billy

41:56

Joel names again? No that's good though Zach

41:58

knows too much. That I've I've

42:01

forgotten too much. That's the my problem.

42:03

Okay. Um, all right

42:07

Zach what else is coming up? Um What

42:12

else we have coming up nothing,

42:14

yeah, okay I'm

42:18

hanging out with Friends

42:21

tonight. Oh back out. That's pretty

42:23

good. Yeah. Yeah. All right.

42:25

Um Jordan how

42:27

about for you? You're forgetting something

42:30

that I have coming up because it's

42:32

not gone there yet I

42:34

gotta do the verbal rebus Rob. It wouldn't be

42:36

a completed twist without the verbal rebus. All

42:38

right. Okay, here we go. We got the These

42:41

verbal rebuses I've been getting worse

42:44

and worse at no you fine.

42:47

They're making less sense The

42:50

verbal are getting worse. I

42:52

don't know about that I

42:54

think they're they're just getting more intricate Rob

42:58

Let's see if you like this one. I think you might like this

43:00

one who would be we have

43:02

the NFL player from the Zapaterra tribe

43:06

Okay We have

43:08

plus the first letter full name. We were first

43:10

first name last name What are we doing here

43:12

the NFL player if I don't say if I

43:14

don't specify it's just the first name Okay, that's

43:16

always that's what I'm gonna pull a Jeff probes

43:18

here That's that's always been the rules here on

43:20

the on the verbal rebus if I don't specify

43:22

them Plus the first

43:25

letter of the first name of

43:27

Cook Islands merge boot the

43:30

first letter of the

43:33

first name of Cook

43:35

Islands Yeah

43:41

Plus after Shambo lost the snorkel

43:43

mouthpiece She said the good news

43:45

is that there are hundreds of

43:47

thousands of blank on the reef.

43:50

Okay Plus

43:52

Pat Cusack was medevaced when he

43:54

hurt this body part in the

43:56

premiere Okay.

43:59

All right. Who? Who do we have so

44:01

who was the NFL player from Zapotera Steve? Eve

44:03

the first letter of the co who was the Cook

44:05

Island merge boot, but he was Nate Nate So

44:08

we have the letter N. Hmm There

44:11

are hundreds of thousands of blink on the reef. What

44:13

did a Shambo size? She did and there

44:15

was fish in the ocean pushing

44:17

the app plus Pat Cusack

44:20

was metabactically her did this out of heart? Tweak

44:23

back was was all it was not

44:25

alright. They heard it. Who do we

44:27

have guys? Steven fishback? Even

44:30

fishback yeah voted out this weekend. Sure. I

44:32

would love the verbal read this I think

44:34

I think he's a literary guy He loves

44:36

words together the resident wordsmith of our HP.

44:38

He would love it I think maybe we

44:40

should have a Kalish and fishback

44:42

just go verbal read this is back to back to

44:44

back. I Mean back to

44:46

fish wait wait until he pisses me off about

44:48

something and then we'll set it up. Okay, this

44:51

is like a rhap jail,

44:53

right Yeah,

44:59

I don't think it's his thing. I think I'd mop

45:01

the floor with him To

45:03

be frank. I mean there's many subjects I

45:05

mean, I think in terms of like Steven

45:08

and I for trivia, I think his knowledge

45:10

base is a mile wide but

45:14

Mine is a mile deep but

45:17

not as deep as a zach's knowledge base

45:20

My I should specify I Know

45:24

who got seventh place on 41 and exile

45:27

island And a

45:30

bone apparently. Yeah, hey part part of it

45:32

is picking the pick in the right category

45:34

It's it's a it's like a life is

45:36

like a box of chocolates and so is

45:38

twitch. Okay. All right There

45:40

you go Jordan anything else for you? If

45:43

you could follow me on Twitter at Jordan Kalish As

45:46

always doing the the New York viewing parties not a

45:49

not so many left the seasons coming to an end

45:51

pretty soon But if you're

45:53

in the New York area We've had people come

45:55

from all around the country and the world this

45:57

season not people have stopped in and they're in

45:59

New York And they can't wait to

46:02

watch Survivor with all the

46:04

fans. It's a great atmosphere. Wow. Okay.

46:07

All right. Well, Jordan, great work once

46:09

again that you amaze us every week.

46:11

Thank you so much for joining us.

46:13

We'd love to read your comments. Thanks

46:17

so much. I'm so excited to read

46:19

the comments on your wish. Yes. This is going

46:21

to be one of the more confusing ones to

46:23

follow. Rob, I am, you know,

46:25

Chappelle once said, God loves Jordan Kalis. He's

46:29

proven it time and time again. We

46:32

did it. We did it. We got

46:34

so much money for charity. We did it. We

46:38

recorded this earlier in the week.

46:40

So currently, as you're

46:42

listening to this, I am still coming

46:45

back from Chicago, but the recording of our

46:47

live show from Chicago is going to be

46:49

airing on Thursday and on Friday. The

46:51

verbal revisit zone, Steven Fishback will join

46:53

me for Survivor Know-It-All on Friday. Thank

46:56

you so much for joining us. Take

46:58

care, everybody. Have a good one.
