This podcast is developed to connect with a broad audience and address the challenges faced by the injured, disabled, their caretakers, family, friends and providers. I personally have had daughter with sever cerebral palsy that passed away at the age of 3 and I have a 19 year old son with Cystic Fibrosis. Recently I have been diagnosed with an unknown auto-immune disease that has taken me from a "sore ankle" to a wheel chair for the rest of my life in only four months. This is not another "sad story", but an opportunity to be actively involved with finding solutions to so many challenges faced by this growing population. A lot of people have been facing these issues for many years or are newly trying to navigate their disability and with your help this podcast can help others in need. I have spent my whole life helping others through my work in the healthcare field and have witnessed many patients go through or possibly overcome very horrible situations. But, I believe this podcast can be therapeutic for myself and others while finding answers along the way.
