Reactor is a limited series telling the story of Maureen Kearney, an Irish trade unionist who found herself at the centre of a French nuclear scandal. When Maureen blew the whistle on the secret international trade of state nuclear technology, she became the subject of threats, culminating in a vicious personal assault when she refused to back down. In a series of conversations at her home in France, Maureen takes us on her journey from Ireland to France, tracing her career, the attack itself and the reaction of the police, followed by her fight for justice as she battled against the French legal system to clear her name.
