"Best Friends & Chocolate" is a two-part segment, centering around best friends and introducing a chocolate theory. Adriana describes "The Chocolate Theory" as saying there are many reasons to take a grand bite of delicious chocolate, just like there are different reasons you might choose to lean on one friend over another depending on the situation. Thus, this analysis supports the "cake vs. cupcake" concept she creates, which represents having multiple reliable friends vs. a single one. By making this episode, she encourages others to choose "cake" and surround themselves with people who they are happy with, trust, and feel that they belong, oppose to being surrounded by acquaintances.  Although taking that first, courageous, step to be able to put yourself out there and find people you connect with may be challenging, it will be worth it.
