This was an excellent explainer about the history of Israel, its place in the Jewish faith, how hard it was to establish, and how precarious its existence was in the 20th Century. It's hard to get an objective perspective from people whose homes were attacked last year, but that helps to illustrate why the conflict over this land has gone on so long. I am looking forward to the history of Palestine in the next episode.
