Episode 5 — The 19th Amendment, Women’s Rights & Intersectional Feminism. Today marks the 100th year anniversary of the ratification of the 19th amendment, which allowed millions of women to vote while millions more were still unable to do so. This podcast takes a look into the shortcomings of the amendment, the voices overshadowed by white suffragists, intersectional feminism and the voter suppression still present in our society today. Don’t forget to register to vote and to mail in your ballot early or find your local drop box!
Hosted by Megan McNaughton. Episode edited by Conner Savage.
