I know that as an entrepreneur you are also a content creator. Whether it’s a podcast or blog post or pinterest pins or instagram reels or TikToks or LinkedIn articles…the list goes on and on, I see that you are on that hamster wheel of content creation. So take a page out of my notebook and these lessons that I’ve learned.

1) Keep your mind in the Gain

Look back at where you started and where you are now. Let that be your motivation and your support to know that you can and will get better - that this will get easier. That you’ve been able to serve your audience and that will only have a snowball effect as you continue to show up in your business online.

2) Have a guide

If you are listening to my podcast, I hope that you see me as your guide. It is such an honor to have you here and I will never take that for granted. Every listen, every email or review or DM I get makes my heart flutter. Because I want you to grow and thrive and know that you can ask me questions and learn something new each day.

3) Lean on your community

Having a supportive community is foundational. It doesn’t even have to be in person. I have the most amazing support group and they all live far away from me! Some are in different countries, some I’ve never even met. And some I’ve known for months or years and they know exactly what I’m working on in my business on a week to week basis.

4) Do the work

It’s hard sometimes, and I completely sympathize with you. Long hours, late nights, early mornings and sometimes it feels like you have nothing to show for it. But keep going. If you have a guide, like we talked about before, it makes doing the work faster because you can follow their process. If you have a community, it makes doing the work easier because you get feedback or support. See how that builds on each other?

5) Be okay to start at the beginning

Start. Just start. Start somewhere. Start messy. Start under a pile of blankets. Start with less than stellar audio or graphics or the perfect color pallet. Getting started is the only way to get where you want to go. Remember, you can’t get to episode 100 if you didn’t create episode 1. So stop daydreaming about where you want your business to be in 5 years. Stop sitting in indecision about what to do next or how to niche down, or what audience you want to attract. Get started. All of that will get fleshed out as you are constantly changing and growing. So start at the beginning. It’s okay. I’m giving you permission. The problem isn’t that you are a beginner. The problem is that you aren’t getting started. This is the number 1 thing getting in the way of your success. And the longer you delay, the further out of reach your goals and dreams are.

There are my 5 lessons that creating 100 podcast episodes have taught me:

  1. Keep your mind in the gain
  2. Have a guide
  3. Lean on your community
  4. Do the work
  5. Start at the beginning

Brand Builder’s Bootcamp are about to open. This is my 6 week course to help you define your brand, create the content you need to grow and systematize it so that you get out of that hamster wheel. At the end of the 6 weeks you will have all of the tools to do the work. You will have me as your guide. You will have that community. And most importantly, you will have a reason to get started and leave that fear of not doing everything perfectly behind. If you are ready to get to your own version of episode 100, join the waitlist at britbennion.com/waitlist.

I want to thank you all again for being with me on this journey. I 100% recognize that this podcast wouldn’t be here without you. You are the reason why I create this and everything I do. I w
