Our Vice President of Public Policy, Dr. Clarissa Thomas and 2024 Chair of the Public Policy Committee, Weldon Shaver kick start the fourth episode of the Policy Pulse Podcast: Breaking Down Real Estate Advocacy. Our Public Policy Committee monitors policies, ordinances, and legislation that could adversely affect private property rights and the free enterprise system. We seek to proactively engage in the public policy arena so as to not only ensure proper representation of the Association’s interests at various levels of the decision-making process, be it local, state and federal, but to also contribute to the overall quality of life of the Pikes Peak region.
