Welcome to Pm. I'm Samantha Donovan coming

0:10

to from the lands of the Were

0:12

Andre Paypal of the Cool and Nation

0:14

in Millburn Tonight Australians mark Anzac Day

0:16

both here and around the world. A

0:19

chance for people to show they respect

0:21

and for those who have served a

0:23

day to stop and reflect. It's

0:25

a chance for us to regroup and

0:27

see all our past rights that we

0:30

have served with where we collectively all

0:32

of the same place as I had

0:34

space we had the opportunity to be.

0:36

I'm talking on cell cells. Also,

0:47

a huge effort to save

0:49

beached pilot whales in Western

0:51

Australia and in the United

0:54

States. Pro Palestinian protests grow

0:56

on university campuses. Thousands.

1:03

Of people have gathered at Anzac

1:05

services around Australia and the world,

1:07

including at the place where the

1:09

legend began Ghalib a Leap from

1:12

Papa New Guinea to France and

1:14

London. Veterans and their families have

1:16

been marking the catastrophic landings on

1:18

that Turkish page in Nineteen Fifteen

1:20

and remembering all those who have

1:23

served in the Armed forces of

1:25

Australia and New Zealand ever since.

1:27

Know Whitehead prepared this report. In.

1:32

The Darkness: Hundreds gathered on the sure

1:35

it can literally to pay their respects

1:37

to the And Sachs. Music

1:41

breaking the silence as the sunrise.

1:56

It was on this peninsula at dawn

1:58

on April twenty fifth. Nineteen Fifteen

2:01

to sixteen thousand Australian and

2:03

New Zealand troops landed. That

2:05

campaign would prove disastrous, but

2:08

their legacy in choose. One

2:12

hundred and nine years

2:14

ago on this die

2:16

at this time at

2:18

this place with spirit

2:20

of Anzac was born

2:22

It was found in

2:24

a steely determination to

2:26

honor the name of

2:29

a strider deputy Prime.

2:31

Minister Rich his mouth attended the

2:33

colourful service. The spirit has

2:35

some bright light in the

2:38

men and women who have

2:40

worn out my son's uniform

2:42

throughout our history in conflicts

2:44

great and small in which

2:46

one hundred and three thousand

2:48

have made the ultimate sacrifice.

2:54

Official representatives laid wreaths,

2:57

Flags raised to half mast.

3:10

In France they gathered in the village

3:12

is the last lesson or commemorating the

3:14

service and sacrifice a soldiers on the

3:17

3:20

in this very special place in

3:22

the same region of France. Over

3:24

one hundred years ago Australian troops

3:27

recaptured the town of your Job

3:29

or tonight that it just hours

3:31

before fallen into German hands. Services

3:34

were held from New Zealand to

3:36

London and Thailand's the Australian Prime

3:38

Minister Anthony Albanese starting the day

3:41

in Papua New Guinea where he

3:43

and Png Prime minister James Morocco

3:45

laid wreaths after today track as

3:47

the code is trying. To

3:49

Die! We thank all serving members

3:52

of the A Strain Defence Force.

3:54

Now as darkness begins to lose

3:56

it's grip on the land we

3:58

think it does not. That must

4:00

have seemed with that end. Here

4:03

and across continents. Across

4:06

was across generations and

4:08

will give thanks to

4:10

because of them. We.

4:12

Can a white what they made possible.

4:15

The. Gift of a broader don't.

4:18

The Federal Opposition leader Peter doesn't Stay

4:20

4:22

Remember them so that we don't forget who we

4:25

are. People. Who choose

4:27

courage over cowardice. Camaraderie.

4:29

Over tribalism, endeavor or

4:31

indolence. Gratitude over resentment.

4:34

And national pride over national

4:36

aversion across. Australia After dawn

4:38

ceremonies much his health and crowds

4:41

came to tear on the men

4:43

and women. He served their country.

4:53

Proud some to. Say

5:04

about me is that. Way

5:20

among the crowds and melvin was

5:22

that runs commemorating the Vietnamese and

5:25

Indian soldiers he fought alongside Anzac.

5:27

I'm Captain Drugs or daughter. We're

5:29

here to commemorate the participation of

5:31

or in under the issues that

5:34

Indian soldiers. The sixteen thousand of

5:36

Indian soldiers are disputed in Nj

5:38

and Thousand Six six hundred of

5:40

them got term killed in action.

5:43

Other Australians came to remember family and

5:45

friends he served on. I'm fine and

5:47

since I'm just here today. And

6:02

if you've been, Much

6:08

more. Give

6:15

6:17

6:22

6:50

Very fresh. Two,

6:56

If you want air, you know. Some

of the people watching me an

7:03

Sec Day march in Millburn today.

7:06

No one's head reporting in Sydney's

7:08

Rocks District on the Hub Us

7:10

servicemen and women and Veterans are

7:12

taking the time to reconnect and

7:14

reflect on what this day means

7:16

to them. This report from Alison

7:19

shall. Pass

7:23

to the brim in

7:25

historic Rock District. A

7:27

Sydney dog pile crowd.

7:29

Still out onto the streets cheering on

7:31

each round of to up. Dennis Lines

7:33

is on his way to made up

7:35

with some friends he served with in

7:37

Vietnam. Had supper never see these

7:40

memos up here and then nurse club in

7:42

so up from there we go far more

7:44

come over from with this rise of master

7:47

when I'm on my so the last time

7:49

so that was important to come I rented

7:51

sat with him and say some of the

7:53

other guys on this or says of the

7:56

respect for the fossils isn't as goes from

7:58

previous wars it didn't make it. The

8:00

streets are bustling but some are lucky

8:03

enough to find a more comfortable spot

8:05

together like this group at the Mercantile

8:07

Hotel. We wanted to get a seat, as

8:09

you may have known, walking up. By the

8:11

time the march is over all the seats are taken.

8:14

Ruffle Wayne spent 23 years in

8:16

the Navy and says today is

8:18

a reminder of the spirit of

8:20

togetherness. Now I'm out for two

8:22

years. I still miss

8:24

that connection with my country. So

8:27

many people, both military

8:30

members and civilians have lost their

8:32

lives. You remember

8:34

all of them, not just the songs

8:37

you've lost in the war. Everybody

8:39

who's been affected by war, and who's

8:41

been affected by war today in other

8:44

countries. Ruffle Wayne is with

8:46

his friends Kai Nguyen and Phil Kelly

8:48

who've both served in the Royal Australian

8:50

Air Force. In the ADF it's

8:52

always about being high-tempo and you

8:54

don't really get a chance to

8:56

sit back and reflect. An

8:58

air-check case from one of those times

9:00

where you get an opportunity, where we're

9:02

collectively all in the same place. It's

9:04

in the same headspace where we have

9:06

an opportunity. To be able to talk

9:08

amongst ourselves and discuss

9:11

the past here. Because really

9:13

for us we're very unique in

9:15

that. It takes one

9:17

to know one. Personally I

9:19

remember my grandfather and his

9:21

brothers from the First World

9:24

War. My father and uncles

9:27

in the Second World War. And

9:30

my cousins and my

9:32

friends in modern times.

9:35

Down the road Frances Watkins is

9:37

remembering her family who've served for

9:39

generations. The image I have in

9:42

my mind is my family is an

9:44

18, 19, 20 year old

9:46

that's fought in Gallipoli. And

9:48

didn't come home. For her Anzac Day

9:50

afternoon is about taking a chance to

9:52

relax with her colleagues in the Defence

9:54

Force. Just purging all that. Getting

9:57

like, you've got it off your chest. And now just relax. and

10:00

go on and pick up and tomorrow and we go

10:02

on again. Also at the rocks is

10:04

Caitlin Fabie. This is my first Anzac Day

10:07

in uniform, so every Anzac Day prior, I've

10:09

been to a daughter's office with family and

10:11

been able to pay my respects that way,

10:13

but doing it in uniform today is a

10:15

whole different level of respect and representing. The

10:17

Navy is given in a whole new level

10:20

of meaning for me, so it's been a

10:22

really beautiful day. When people gather to mark

10:24

this important day in Australian history, it's also

10:26

a chance to strike up new friendships. Jack

10:29

Enner met Vietnam War veteran John

10:31

Shepherd today. It's honestly been

10:33

an absolute pleasure of my entire time

10:35

with him and his experience has been

10:37

long-winded for people he's served with. It's

10:40

really why I come out this day

10:43

and spend time with people, as

10:45

much as spending time with people I've served with, when

10:47

someone people like themselves. My

10:50

initiation in the service was

10:53

as a national service. I

10:55

was called up for two

10:57

years in conscription for their

10:59

Vietnam War. After

11:01

people voted for us to

11:03

get involved against communism,

11:07

they chose to speak upon

11:09

us when we came home.

11:12

That was really the psychological

11:14

effect of the involvement

11:17

in their conflict. Even

11:19

today, the avoidance of

11:21

the venture of

11:24

Vietnam. A lot of people like to

11:26

forget about it, but the soldiers who

11:28

fought there will never forget. It

11:31

means a lot to me to really

11:33

understand his sacrifice, his suffering. What's

11:35

the most special thing to you

11:37

about this day? In my

11:39

mind, it's about the fact that we all get to live

11:42

our freedom, right? Like, the fact that we all get to

11:44

see you get to report me right now. That

11:46

doesn't exist in all countries. We

11:49

just want to go to the beach, we want to go to

11:51

the park. I think that's what our ANZAC sport and died for.

11:53

It makes me emotional that they did that. For

11:56

John Sheppard, this day will always

11:58

be a meaningful one. Those

12:00

times considerably paypal of

12:02

charged. Consider playing every

12:05

still hold on to

12:07

the spirit have a

12:09

zagged. That's Vietnam

12:11

Veteran John Sheppard Ellison shout we'd

12:14

That report is this am I'm

12:18

12:23

12:25

Ukraine. A

12:31

major if is has been under way

12:34

in Western Australia south today to save

12:36

more than a hundred pilot well stranded

12:38

at Toby endless need. Duns brought a

12:40

report it Jackie leans is there Jessie

12:43

what's happening there at the moment Yes

12:45

well I it's clients down a little

12:47

bit just stay in the last couple

12:50

of hours as about thirty Wales on

12:52

the bait shop. Fortunately those whales ah

12:54

a dead and reset the going through

12:57

with tagging them. take some information from

12:59

them. But the good news. Is there

13:01

are about one hundred and sixty while

13:03

on the beach at one stage and

13:05

that most of those whales or have

13:07

faded out to say we understand they

13:10

quite far out and the moment side

13:12

we do have about thirty sadly sale

13:14

here on the beach and and those

13:16

a dead but a really really good

13:18

efforts by volunteers and by everyone that

13:20

was down here to rescue those whales.

13:22

That so far as saying apple say.

13:25

He is so the wilds of have

13:27

gone out back to say with i

13:29

assisted out by the volunteers or. Did

13:31

they decide to go back themselves?

13:34

This is a big arrest she misses

13:36

this morning our volunteers were down here

13:38

the department of Biodiversity conservation an attraction

13:41

is had people down here as well

13:43

aren't members of the public are some

13:45

people has acknowledged local knowledge of these

13:48

kind of situation because it's not the

13:50

first time with same this happened around

13:52

the southwest so everyone with kind of

13:54

ps ah helping I keeping the whales

13:57

were to anti helping to harold the

13:59

whales. After say whether with by

14:01

saw and kind of keeping them feather

14:03

and now they're being monitored by up

14:06

planes and people are keeping a close

14:08

eye on ice and windy they actually

14:10

start getting stranded on the beach. Well

14:12

word quickly spread around seven eight o'clock

14:14

this morning that there was a few

14:17

wales starting to strand of and it

14:19

became more and more. There was an

14:21

equally another pulled that was offshore and

14:23

they came into so at Moyes To

14:26

as I said a hundred and sixty

14:28

whales were all down here. I'm. From

14:30

Valerie early in the morning are but

14:32

he didn't actually take care of Volunteers

14:35

and members of the department has said

14:37

biodiversity conservation instructions too long to get

14:39

those whales that have survived back out

14:41

to sure but it it's been a

14:43

massive died as they lots of people

14:46

here lots of people bought their families

14:48

a lot to help to have a

14:50

look and and it was quite distressing

14:52

really early on to see these whales

14:54

are in pain and and to see

14:57

the thirty or so Wales it has

14:59

unfortunately not made. It and Turkey even

15:01

the experts. Same to say I can

15:03

never to live well, strand on the

15:05

bags of any theories been raised to

15:08

die or it still remains a mystery.

15:10

Well it's always been a mystery why

15:12

Wilde said to strand up on the

15:14

beach like this and that. Like I

15:17

said, it's not the first time that

15:19

this has happened, but every time the

15:21

whales strand on the base were learning

15:23

more and more about their behavior about

15:26

animals themselves and hopefully this can all

15:28

help in determine why Wales. Do

15:30

what they do. That is a little

15:32

bit of talks that are perhaps one

15:34

of the whales was seeks a sikh

15:36

and when they're sick bay I tend

15:38

to strand and once while one well

15:41

strands unfortunately the rest of the pod

15:43

the rest of the family they end

15:45

up or stranding as well and even

15:47

if he usually if he can manage

15:49

to us or them. Out to

15:51

say they can just turn around and

15:54

come back inside. It's a really positive

15:56

sign to see them are being taken

15:58

out say and staying there. And

16:00

so what's going to happen now all

16:02

these whales that are still out to

16:04

say they'll be closely monitored over the

16:06

next couple of days are helicopters planes

16:09

out there are? it's out there or

16:11

just keeping an eye on them to

16:13

make sure that they're well off shore

16:15

and or so it's keeping an ally

16:17

on the beaches and the coastline as

16:19

well. As for the whales that ah

16:21

is still on the beach, the ones

16:23

that have died about thirty wales at

16:25

this some daughter and some samples taken

16:27

from them and and I'll be taken

16:29

away for research. To they bring in

16:32

the trucks to take those whales

16:34

off the beach. The of he

16:36

16:40

South Wales Police continue to investigate

16:43

the mood or of young mother

16:45

Molly Times Hirst experts. A warning:

16:47

The system that supposed to protect

16:49

women at risk is riddled with

16:51

problems or review of laws and

16:54

domestic violence protection measures. He's under

16:56

way in that state after a

16:58

court heard me toss his former.

17:00

Partner was on bail for charges

17:02

17:05

her. Some lawyers thinks it's race

17:07

17:19

17:21

17:23

17:25

17:27

a review of by a law

17:29

these worthwhile but argue that's also

17:31

just one part of a big

17:33

and complex problem. Two people going

17:35

through the same system don't experience

17:37

the same problems at the same

17:39

point. Kate Smith is the founding

17:41

Director of the Domestic Violence Support

17:43

Terrorists. He broken to brilliance see

17:45

the Domestic Violence Survivor. herself and

17:47

explains different women are facing different

17:50

problems with the legal system we

17:52

have got people going through the

17:54

same legal system and it's decent

17:57

point it is failing sometimes it

17:59

says with the police. Sometimes it's

18:01

failing with bail, sometimes it's failing in

18:03

the courts with the lawyers and the

18:06

judges. And so it's very

18:08

hard to go, this is the

18:10

point where we can fix it.

18:12

Kate Smith's charity has set up

18:14

an education system for women to

18:16

help them navigate the complicated legal

18:18

system. They also ran training sessions

18:20

with police recruit, where domestic violence

18:23

survivors share what did and didn't

18:25

help them. We present some good

18:27

cases and we present some bad

18:29

cases where it hasn't gone so well. And

18:32

we've educated over 700 police

18:35

recruits, but it's going to take a long

18:37

time. You know, we're just starting

18:40

this little trickle of 700 recruits going

18:42

out into the big Queensland police

18:44

force. Kate Smith says the majority

18:46

of her charity's work is done

18:49

by volunteers and she's constantly applying

18:51

for funding. And despite years

18:53

of calls for better support, the CEO

18:56

of Queensland's Women's Legal Service, Nadia Bromley,

18:58

says services still don't have enough money

19:00

to help all the women who need

19:03

it. The reality is we know just

19:05

too many people are choosing violence instead

19:07

of poverty at the moment. Molly

19:09

Teithurst's death has prompted calls for

19:11

more education for police, lawyers and

19:13

judges about domestic and family violence.

19:15

Nadia Bromley says the voices of

19:17

domestic violence support workers should be

19:19

given more weight during proceedings too.

19:21

We don't see compulsory subjects in

19:23

law schools. We don't see compulsory

19:25

continuing education modules around it in

19:27

the same way that we do

19:29

for things like legal ethics. So

19:31

I think there's absolutely a huge

19:33

opportunity to better inform our professional services

19:36

so they can provide better, more trauma-informed

19:38

services to women and other people when

19:40

they need help. From what you've seen

19:43

in the court system, are domestic violence

19:45

support workers given enough consideration? Are they

19:47

heard in the court system? Unfortunately we

19:49

know our frontline services are really under

19:52

demand. So the ability for workers to

19:54

actually even spend the time to come

19:56

into court for every matter just isn't

19:58

there. is unfortunately when

20:01

they do have that capacity it might

20:03

be that they're not being given the

20:05

same level of attention or respect as

20:07

other professions which is disappointing because we

20:09

know that people experiencing violence are the

20:11

experts in their experience but we also

20:13

know that frontline workers are best positioned

20:15

to understand and assess risk and help

20:17

women. The Domestic Family and Sexual Violence

20:19

Commissioner has called a national round table

20:21

for authorities and services in the sector

20:23

next month to talk about other moves

20:25

that are needed. Nadia Bromley

20:28

says it's time for action. I think

20:30

all of the commitments, all the words that can

20:33

be spoken have been spoken. I think it's about

20:35

just getting on with how do we actually do

20:37

this thing and prove to our community that we're

20:39

doing it. Initial findings from the New South Wales

20:42

bail laws review are expected by the end of

20:44

next month. Stephanie Smail,

20:46

in the United States pro-Palestinian

20:49

protests are intensifying on university

20:51

campuses across the country. Demonstrators

20:54

have been arrested at the University

20:57

of Southern California while in Texas

20:59

hundreds of police officers have clashed

21:02

with the protesters. This report from

21:04

Rima Cheer. Hundreds

21:11

of Jewish students are breaking

21:13

bread and hosting a Passover

21:15

Seder at Columbia University. It's

21:18

known as the Feast of Liberty

21:20

in remembrance of how the Jewish

21:22

people escaped slavery in Egypt thousands

21:24

of years ago. Jewish

21:32

students at Columbia held these

21:34

Shabbat prayers in solidarity with the

21:36

pro-Palestinian protesters camped on the campus

21:39

lawns. Sarah is a

21:41

Jewish student who's been arrested in

21:43

the past week. My college administration,

21:45

my representatives in Congress

21:47

and my own president

21:49

have continually acted and

21:51

spoke people from the

21:53

Jewish community, equating anti-Semitism

21:55

with anti-Semitism so that

21:58

they can say that your French group that

22:00

were not real Jews. Other

22:02

Jewish student groups and some

22:05

politicians say that pro-Palestinian demonstrations

22:07

in universities are stroking antisemitism,

22:10

and that Jewish students fear for their safety.

22:13

But this Jewish student, Safa

22:15

Askenazi, disagrees. They revealed

22:18

their ignorance of the reality of Jewish

22:20

life by portraying the Jewish people as

22:22

a monolith and erasing the stories of

22:24

the solemn leave of a fighting for

22:26

the Palestine. We barely see these

22:28

people! We pray

22:30

for this youth! Tensions are

22:32

simmering. These student protests are an

22:35

example of just how divisive American

22:37

support for Israel's war in Gaza

22:39

has become among young people. At

22:42

the University of Southern California, or

22:45

USC, in Los Angeles, police arrested

22:47

dozens of protesters with the school

22:49

closing its main campus. This

22:52

USC alumnus who supports the protests

22:54

says the objectives are clear. We

22:57

want the university to disclose its

23:00

financial holdings and divest from

23:02

its relationships with financial institutions, and

23:05

we want the university to recognize it has

23:08

taken the lives of 34,000 people. It

23:11

is continuing to this day and starving 1 million

23:13

more people. At the University

23:15

of Texas, demonstrators were met with

23:18

heavy police presence. Hundreds of

23:20

officers filled the lawns somewhere on horseback,

23:22

and many were holding the con. White

23:30

House Press Secretary Corinne Jean-Pierre says

23:32

President Biden is aware of the

23:34

tensions at play. The president

23:36

believes that free speech, debate and

23:39

non-discrimination on college campuses are important.

23:42

They're important American values. And

23:45

so he'll always be very

23:47

clear, we will always be very clear about

23:49

that here. Students should feel safe, communities should

23:51

feel safe. Obviously,

23:55

it is a deeply painful moment. He

23:57

sees that. He understands that. Politicians

24:00

like Republican House Speaker Mike

24:02

Johnson argue the protests are

24:04

not free speech. My message to

24:06

the students inside the encampment is go

24:09

back to class and stop the nonsense.

24:12

If this is not contained quickly and if

24:14

these threats and intimidation are not stopped, there

24:16

is an appropriate time for the National Guard.

24:18

We have to bring order to these campuses.

24:20

We cannot allow this to happen around the

24:22

country. Columbia graduate student Izeper

24:24

Macias believes the protests are

24:26

overshadowing why this movement began.

24:29

I think that the amount of

24:32

media coverage that this is

24:34

getting is actually taking

24:36

away from what is happening over

24:38

in Gaza and the war. While

24:41

I am incredibly

24:43

impressed and inspired

24:45

and in support

24:48

of what the protesting students are

24:50

doing, I also feel

24:52

like total

24:54

and complete divestment is

24:57

not going to happen. Students are also

24:59

protesting in Australia. They've set up

25:01

tents as they demonstrate at the

25:03

University of Sydney and the University

25:06

of Melbourne. Rima Cheer

25:08

reporting. Russia's aerial

25:10

bombardment of Ukraine is continuing.

25:13

The latest strike has hit

25:15

critical infrastructure in the central

25:17

Hukasi region and injured several

25:19

people. The American President

25:21

Joe Biden has promised more than $60 billion

25:24

of aid will soon arrive in the

25:26

country. It's part

25:28

of an enormous package the US

25:31

Congress has finally approved to assist

25:33

not only Ukraine but Israel, Taiwan

25:35

and other allies. David

25:38

Taylor has more. On this vote,

25:40

the yeas are 79. The nays are 18. The

25:44

motion to concur in the House amendment to the

25:46

Senate amendment to H.R. 815 is agreed to. The

25:50

Senate sends a unified message to the

25:52

entire world. America

25:55

will always defend democracy in

25:58

its hour of need. Democratic

26:00

leader Chuck Schumer. We tell our

26:02

allies we will stand with you.

26:05

We tell our adversaries don't mess

26:07

with us. We tell the

26:09

world we will do

26:11

everything to defend democracy and

26:14

our way of life. Rather than

26:16

directly engaging its enemies, the US

26:18

is supporting its allies as they

26:20

engage in war. US

26:22

President Joe Biden. I just signed in

26:24

the law the national security package that

26:26

was passed by the House of Representatives

26:28

this weekend and by the Senate yesterday.

26:31

It's going to make America safer, it's going

26:33

to make the world safer and

26:36

it continues America's leadership in the world

26:38

and everyone knows it. Despite being saddled

26:40

with its own enormous debt load, the

26:43

US has passed a $95 billion foreign

26:46

aid package to assist its allies

26:48

fight in war. $60

26:50

billion will head to Ukraine, $26 billion to Israel, and

26:53

$8 billion for Taiwan and other Indo-Pacific

26:58

allies. It gives vital support

27:00

to America's partners so

27:03

they can defend themselves against threats to their

27:05

sovereignty and to the lives

27:07

and freedom of their citizens. And

27:09

it's an investment in our own security because

27:12

when our allies are stronger, and

27:14

I want to make this current

27:16

again and again, when our allies

27:18

are stronger, we are stronger. The

27:20

package prioritises boosting Ukraine's military might.

27:23

Biden has immediately approved sending

27:25

Ukraine $1 billion in military

27:28

assistance. The package includes

27:30

air defence capabilities, artillery rounds,

27:32

armoured vehicles and other weapons

27:35

to shore up Ukrainian forces.

27:38

Joe Biden says Ukraine cannot concede

27:40

any more ground to Russia. Putin attacks

27:42

the NATO ally like he's attacking Ukraine

27:44

today. We have no choice but

27:46

to come to the raid, just like

27:49

our NATO allies came to our aid after

27:51

the September 11 attack here. That's

27:54

why we're supporting and surging support

27:56

Now to Ukraine To stop Putin

27:59

from drawing. United States. You know

28:01

war in Europe and the future,

28:03

but this bill has taken by

28:05

the President's own admission too long

28:08

to pass, and even with a

28:10

burst of new weapons and ammunition,

28:12

it's unlikely Ukraine will immediately recover

28:14

after months of setbacks. Merger stands.

28:16

You are friends we stand up

28:19

against into we bow to no

28:21

one to no certainly not Vladimir.

28:23

prove. The bill also includes about

28:25

twenty six billion dollars in aid

28:27

that Israel, of which one billion.

28:30

Dollars has been earmarked for

28:32

humanitarian relief the Palestinians in

28:34

Gaza. As the Israel Hamas

28:36

war continues, Joe Biden says

28:38

Israel must ensure the humanitarian

28:40

aid for Palestinians reaches the

28:42

Hamas controlled territory without delay.

28:45

and everything we do is

28:47

guided by the album goal

28:49

of ruse hostages, home security,

28:51

ceasefire and send the conditions

28:53

for you during peace. Joe

28:55

Biden sold this war I'd

28:57

packages a message to the

28:59

world. About the power of

29:02

American Leadership. That message was

29:04

rammed home with an admission

29:06

from officials that Us. had

29:08

secretly supplied Ukraine in March

29:10

with a long range Army

29:12

Tactical Missile System with a

29:14

maximum range of one hundred

29:16

ninety six miles capable of

29:18

reaching Russian territory outside Ukraine.

29:21

The question now is whether

29:23

the financial and military aid

29:25

will be enough to ensure

29:27

the United States itself is

29:29

not formally. Drawn into any of

29:31

the conflicts. started tyler thanks
