Today we speak to Dr Kyla Smith, the proud creator and owner of Meal Time Building Blocks, Baby Mealtimes and Toddler Meal Times. She’s a lover of vegetables and a big fan of sharing food with those you love. Dr Kyla is a Paediatric Dietitian that has been specialising in fussy eating for over decade. 

   Hearing how Kyla came to the realisation that people were more invested in her personal brand than her small business brand is definitely food for thought. 

   When your audience mainly engages with you over social media, it’s important to realise that your personal brand is just another name for your reputation. If you have or are thinking about starting a business, considering asking yourself the question, “What are you doing to build your reputation and become an expert in your industry?”

   The other thing I found refreshing about today’s episode is that Kyla was able to admit where she needed support and has taken steps to improve these areas for the future. She is a great example of an inspirational small business owners in Perth and I can’t wait to share the origin stories of our upcoming guests.
