On Perth Live today, Oly Peterson revealed that senior Federal National Party MP's have been working overtime to recruit Mia Davies, as a candidate for the new WA electoral seat at the next federal election. 

The seat of Bullwinkel — which will take in Beverley, Northam, Toodyay, York, Armadale, Gosnells, Kalamunda, Mundaring and Swan — was announced in a shake-up of the electoral map last month.
