Myanmar's civil war has taken a critical turn in recent weeks following a series of defeats for the military junta that reclaimed power in 2021. The exiled civilian government, deposed in that coup, says victory for their resistance is coming soon. But there are fears of a violent struggle as the military attempts to regain lost ground.
