“Outspoken with Hymnz & Metaphors”
Mission Statement: Outspoken with Hymnz & Metaphors brings the Kingdom to the culture, discussing innovative topics that go against the grain of society and release Christ into a world in need of the TRUTH! “Hymnz & Metaphors” is a dynamic Christian Spoken Word and Rap creative arts experience touring the east coast! This ministry brings a collaboration of Christian Rap and Spoken Word geared to all age groups. This genre of worship is missing in today’s Christian culture, and our goal is to fill that need. We have begun to bridge the gap between generations using music and poetry in an energetic setting that glorifies Jesus Christ. Audience members will snap their fingers, get out of their seats and rock, and lift their hearts in worship, all in the same experience. Using the Hymnz & Metaphors platform, “Outspoken” was birthed, because they wanted to share their hearts with the culture to show how even this generation can also look towards the Lord and His word for guidance, even if it is taboo. The goal of “Outspoken” is to be transparent with discussing topics related to the culture of today’s society, all while always bringing it back to Christ and His word.Scriptures: “Unseal my lips, oh Lord, that my mouth will praise you.” Psalms 51:15“He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God.
