Zaibis is originally from Miami, Florida. She attended University of Florida (Go Gators!) where she earned a bachelor's degree in religion with a minor in Theories and Politics of Sexuality.  She’s spent over a decade working at various colleges focusing on student advocacy and social justice. Zaibis is currently pursuing her doctorate in Educational Leadership. She spends much of her free time watching her husband’s basketball games or chasing around her son!
