We live in a time of unprecedented change and there is so much disruptive emergent energy around us, we might not realize what a powerful opportunity this is for creating new systems. The systems are dying and while we are in those spasms of a dying system, we can also feel the birth pains and this is the time to plant the seeds for those dreams we hold most dear to our hearts. One of mine is to create heaven on earth, to liberate each person into their greatness and their original medicine, to create thriving ecosystems where we can fully show up. Can you imagine this? If we feel it is impossible, it’s only impossible until we do it. And I can tell you we are doing it. One of the biggest obstacles has to do with our economic system and in particular our navigating a survival-based world with just making enough income to have our basic needs met. This is about to change and Universal Basic Income is on the rise (according to google trends, interest in the idea has quadrupled in the past three months) and is being prototyped all over the world. The solution is not whether it will happen, but when and how many different ways. Isn’t this thrilling.
