In this episode, we briefly talk about what we know the prosperity gospel to be, but then we dive deeper into the nuanced manifestations of that false gospel in our own lives. 

Much of Scripture implores us to grow in maturity beyond the elementary no-brainers by discerning between good and evil. We take the time in this episode to talk about how our own poor theology of suffering can reveal the areas where we've bought into various forms of the prosperity gospel. 

What does your relationship dynamic with God look like? Do you go to Him just for Him, seeking who He truly is? Or do you go to Him really for what you want from Him? In the simplest of ways, our entitlement often truthfully drives our prayers.

How do you respond when God doesn't do what you want or He turns out to be different than what you were taught or desired?
