Karin’s Fun Facts:

Q: What was your first word?

A: I have no idea and I don't think my mom ever wrote it down. She's not too sentimental. But if you need a word - we can go with dada. Bc it's always the mom they spend all the time with but the dad that they say first!

Q: School achievements?

A: Came in 2nd place in the 2nd grade spelling bee - lost on the word sweater - I forgot the a.

Q: What was your nickname as a child?

A: Kar Bear

Q: Who is your favorite celebrity and why?

A: I try not to have a favorite celebrity - they are just normal people like me. They make mistakes too. Their lives aren't perfect. I try to avoid idolizing people.

Not sure if this is what you were looking for but I guess God. He's my celebrity. When He is for me, no one can be against me. When He is for me, anything is possible.

Q: What was your most embarrassing moment?

A: There are too many to list them all, some of which are in my memoir The Ins and Outs of My Vagina. But I remember in 5th grade, this boy Phillip that I probably had a crush on was chasing me on the playground. I don't know if he pushed me or I fell but I was laid out on the gravel. But it had just rained so I was in a gravely puddle of mud. It was in my mouth hair and my clothes were completely soaked. I tried not to cry but as soon as I saw the bloody knees I was mush. I ran to the nurses office and she tried calling my mom who picked that exact moment to go to the grocery store. Any other day she would have been sitting on the couch watching Young and the Restless. The nurse didn't have any clothes but boy clothes so I had to wear boy gray pants for the rest of the day. I was MORTIFIED.

Q: Favorite food?

A: Italian and Pizza which sucks bc I have silent acid reflux and can't eat tomatoes anymore

Q: Most disgusting food?

A: vegamite lol I tried it in Australia but it was just awful

Q: Do you sleep on your...

A: Side

Q: Which superpower would you want to have and why?

A: Sure it would be cool to fly or become invisible, but in all practicality I'd rather have some alert or spidey sense to know when a child was being harmed so I could stop it or alert the authorities. As a life coach it's amazing how many people are still dealing with childhood trauma well into adulthood. It impacts their lives, their friends and family, their children, society. we could fix a lot of issues if we cared for the youth more.

Q: What is your greatest fear?

A: Wasting my life - that's why I had all those panic attacks about death during my midlife crisis

Q: What is your biggest dream?

A: I'm living it...but I would like to see the book turned into a TV show.

Q: What is your stance on pineapple on pizza?

A: no - it's actually illegal in some states (don't fact check that though)

Q: If you were a flower, which one would you be?

A: Orchid - beautiful but hard to maintain

Q: In a zombie apocalypse, what is your weapon of choice?

A: everything - I would literally turn everything into a weapon, but since this is fantasy, I'd go with bow and arrow. I don't want to get close enough to chop anyone's head off.

Q: If you had 10 dogs and someone took one, how many dogs would you have left?

A: 9 dogs

Q: If you had to wear a disclaimer statement everywhere you went, what would it say?

A: Bear: Do not poke.

Q: If you were losing your hair, would you transplant or comb over?

A: Transplant
