"Fear itself is the creation of your mind, it does not exist independently. Since it is a fabrication, you do not have to fight it, just understand it. Understanding is the key to freedom."

Always consider what's behind fear.

When you know that the by-product of fear is amazing

And the best things in your life always run the other side of that

Then you move on and you create something so beautiful and so great!

On today’s episode, I talk with Frank about two of the most important emotions in our life: fear and gratitude.

Frank Clark is a results-oriented Life and Business Coach with over 25 years of formal training with accomplished transformational speakers like Tony Robbins, Zig Ziglar, Brian Tracy, Dr. Wayne Dyer, Jim Rohn, and Keith Cunningham. He is the co-creator and co-host of GratiTube TV - a show dedicated to the power of Gratitude, Finances, Relationships, Health/Fitness, Entrepreneurship, and Personal/Professional Development.

Frank says that fear is an important component of your body but it's not the component that needs to run your life.

So, listen to Episode 12 of My Fitness Ride, to learn that when you face your fear and you take some chances, you will lose sometimes, but you really only lose if you don’t take away the lesson.

Questions I ask:

  • How did you feel about gratitude when you were going through your divorce? (16:24)
  • Did fear play a factor in knowing that you were putting yourself up there, with another person? (38:39)
  • What advice would you give to a brand new midlifer who just turned 40, about to enter the midlife world? (51:44)
  • Do you have a favorite failure that you’ve been throughout your life? (54:20)
  • If you could have a gigantic billboard with your favorite phrase/quote, what would it say? (55:40)

In this episode, you will learn:

  • The Spiral Dynamics exercise – what it represents and what meant to Frank’s development. (04:45)
  • The steps of grieving. (19:22)
  • The components of state management. (29:53)
  • The Second Act Mastermind – what it is and who can benefit from it. (43:42)
  • The importance of Mastermind classes. (49:15)
