On one hand, itβs awesome that so many outwardly show their support for the LGBTQIA+ community, while on the other, she cringes when she see storefronts put up their once-a-year rainbow flags, rainbow-themed retail campaigns and corporate floats in the Pride parade. She thinks to herself: Do they actually care about my sister or are they just using her sexuality as a marketing tactic? Could these companies make a greater impact if they re-allocated the funds spent on rainbow-themed paraphernalia elsewhere? She asked her sister. And although her sister doesnβt speak for the entire queer community, she shared 3 things with Elizabeth that she shares in this week's episode.
