Mary Grace graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles and the University of California, Berkeley, earning a degree in pure mathematics and a masters in public health with a concentration in maternal & child health and with an international health specialty. 

After graduation, she rose quickly in her career, becoming a hospital chief of staff, a director of operations, a business operations leader for a surgical robotics company, and founder of multiple businesses. With a focus on performance improvement, lean, and neuroscience leadership, Mary Grace has spent a decade in healthcare leading multiple company-wide transformations in their efforts to improve quality, service and affordability. 

She founded The Young Professionista, through which she supports college students get into their ideal school and hone the skills they need to succeed in college while also supporting professionals in their further career development. 

She is also cofounder of Human Centered Reliability, where she teaches a system of thinking and acting to optimize personal and professional performance. 

Mary Grace has been featured in Business Insider, CNBC, Yahoo Finance, U.S. News and World Report, and Fast Company. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and two children.
