That’s Too Hard

We are our worst enemies. I promise we are! We put ourselves down before anyone else has the chance to. Let me give you an example of what I mean. Think of a career choice or even a job you may have been interested in. Think long and hard. Why are you not doing that doing at this current moment?

For me, I had a little interest in rocket science. But I figured it was just way too hard and impossible for someone like me to learn. Now what type of mess is that??? I just dismissed the entire opportunity by putting myself down! Luckily, I was only slightly interested in this and it as not my passion.

My passion was creating clothing. I thought making dresses and jeans and outfits were completely impossible to learn. How in the world does one learn how to operate a sewing machine is what I would constantly ask myself? Then one day, I snapped out of it and taught myself. When you are extremely passionate about something, nothing will ever be too hard to learn. Nothing will ever get in your way for accomplishing that goal.

Not only did I learn how to sew, I created a full-blown business! Listen to me, nothing is too hard! Nothing! You need to get out of your own way and make it happen! The only reason anything is considered too hard is because you created that barrier in your mind.

In conclusion, you are in control and can do anything you put your mind to. This is something I was never taught as a kid. I was never told I could do anything I want to do. I had to figure this out on my own.  I am telling you this right now, you are in control and nothing is too hard. You got this.
