This excellent podcast will not only entertain you, but educate you on the system of Pathfinder 2e. You can really hear the friends at the table vibe as they work their way through Extinction Curse and other adventures. So if you are at all interested in PF2e, or just want to hear a great show with great people, look no further than MNMaxed!
MNmaxed PodcastThanks Adam! *FFSC salute!*
Great podcast, great guys. Seriously this podcast brings everything you could ask for in a ttrpg audio show. The humor is there, the chemistry is there, and the sound quality is top. Give them a listen.
The MNMaxed podcast is, bar none, the authority on Pathfinder 2e actual plays. Their Fall of Plaguestone run is a little rough around the edges, but the crew really hit their stride on their main show running the Extinction Curse AP. The GM and the crew have a shockingly deep knowledge and respect for the rules of the new system, especially considering they started the show THE DAY AFTER 2E WAS RELEASED. Sound quality is high, production quality is through the roof, and the occasional original music that makes it on the show is a fantastic fit for the campaign and shows a real talent not seen in many other actual plays. This show is as fun and entertaining as it is educational for anyone looking to get into Pathfinder 2e, and if you are at all interested in the system, you're in the right place. Welcome to the circus!
MNmaxed PodcastThanks Frank! I gotta say, passed this one around the group and we got warm fuzzies all around.
The adventures with this group of guys has been a hoot. From characters who badly just wanted to burn down Etrans Folly and leave, to a beautiful dancing leshy performing alongside a majestic tiger and squirrel (and you know, whatever those other characters are), the players build interesting people who are invested in the story and hilarious to listen to. The players also do a good job explaining how pathfinder 2e works, and talking through some of the finer points of the system.
MNmaxed PodcastThank you elisaelli! You. Are. Awesome.
One of the best actual play podcasts I've ever listened to
Podcast itself is marginally entertaining. Unfortunately the guy who plays Peach Pie has political takes that show an amazing lack of critical thinking. It is clear that he is likely a product of the MN public school system and is unable to process anything beyond what he is told by twitter and MSNBC
MNMaxed provides belly aching laughs at times and edge of your seat moments at others. They are a wonderful bunch of humans that gladly share the fun at their table with all to hear. There’s not another podcast for P2e I would even think to recommend besides MNMaxed.
Really enjoyable podcast using Pathfinder 2e. I love the way they handle the official lore and the official Adventure Path they're using but make it their own.
Amazing podcast that makes you want to sit down at the table and play. Just now starting season 2 the Extinction Curse but I started from the Fall of Plague Stone and have been binging every free second I can get my headphones out. I’d say these guys are just as, if not more entertaining than critical role. I’ve played DND for almost 11 years but have never really delved into pathfinder and these guys do an awesome job explaining the rules and house rules as well, Shout out Swany! I also wish I could voice act like David or Tyler these guys are impressive. Keep it up guys I’m a huge fan!
Listened to about 10 episodes of Extinction Curse. Felt like most of it was the players getting huffy with the DM for asking them to explain their actions. Another player was just obsessed with reminder everyone his character is a "whore". Never felt like there was any character substance to it. Just a thing the player threw in to keep laughing about. They definitely seem knowledgeable about PF2e which is why I checked it out in the first place, but this is nothing like my table games. Just felt like "bros" getting into fights and negging each other. I see why it appeals to some but it has very little appeal to me
MNmaxed Podcast"Just felt like "bros" getting into fights and negging each other."See, this guy gets us. We're a solid 2/5 podcast.
