By far my favorite podcast on the airwaves. This is not your run of the mill true crime podcast, Bill & Kristin truly go above and beyond in creating top quality content. A few factors that make this show unique and a fan favorite: -Bill himself is, very tragically, the brother of a murder victim. Kristin, also tragically, lost a close friend to violent crime. Given these experiences, both hosts bring an extremely unique personal perspective to the table that is unrivaled by other true crime shows.-Mind Over Murder has perhaps the most impressive line-up of subject matter experts and guest speakers I've witnessed in true crime podcasting. They've had everyone from FBI Criminal Profilers, forensic DNA experts, journalists, true crime authors, law enforcement, and even friends/family of victims on the show. Their network and rolodex of credible, interesting contacts blows my mind.-Fantastic selection of cases. When the hosts cover a case they pick incredibly interesting and compelling cases and do more than provide a standard Wikipedia summary. Both hosts are avid researchers and do their due diligence before covering a case; really going a level deeper in case analysis than even your average Dateline episode. Sometimes their coverage of cases is often so thorough it will span 1-3 episodes and reveal insights you can't just find in a Google search.-Likability of the hosts. Bill and Kristin come across as two very likable, down to earth, personable people with a great on air presence and dynamic. They do an excellent job providing credible coverage of a serious subject while also balancing in lighthearted exchanges. Definitely the kind of people you'd want to grab a drink with in non-COVID times. -I also give them extra kudos on this point: in an industry filled with opportunists, Bill and Kristin are clearly in this line of work for the right reasons. I get the impression they are truly driven by seeking justice for victims (especially the Colonial Parkway murders) and helping bring media exposure to cases and subjects that often times are put on the back burner. This is personal for them both and their authenticity speaks volumes in a media genre filled with white noise.Keep up the awesome podcast Bill & Kristin!-Robert Grey
