എട്ടാം ക്ലാസിലേക്ക് കയറിയപ്പോ ഹോസ്റ്റലിൽ നിൽക്കാനുള്ള ആഗ്രഹം പറഞ്ഞത് മഴ തന്നെയാണ്. അവളുടെ ബെസ്റ്റ് ഫ്രണ്ട്സ് രണ്ടു പേരും, കാർത്തികേം ഫാത്തിമേം ഹോസ്റ്റലിലേക്ക് മാറുന്നതായിരുന്നു കാരണം. പക്ഷേ, അവിടെച്ചെന്നു രണ്ടു ദിവസം കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോഴേ വീട്ടിലുള്ളവരെ കാണാതെ മഴയ്ക്ക് ശ്വാസം മുട്ടി. ഏതായാലും പോയതല്ലേ, ഒരു മാസം നിൽക്കട്ടേന്നു പറഞ്ഞത് അച്ഛനാണ്.ആ കാലാവധി നാളെ കഴിയും. മഴ അവളുടെ സ്വന്തം വീട്ടിലേക്ക് തിരിച്ചെത്തും.
