Former Ohio State football coach Urban Meyer says Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) payments have evolved into cheating in college football.  He says what the system was designed for and what it has become are two different things.

URBAN MEYER SAYS IT IS CHEATING

Meyer says if a business wants to pay an athlete to appear on their billboard than he is all for that.  But if collectives just scrape together millions of dollars from donors to hand directly to players, then that is wrong.  And he's right.  Because the latter is exactly what is happening in college football (and hoops too!)
