Lions address the global issue of childhood hunger through projects such as school meal programs and nutrition education for parents; Lions vision screening helps save a young girl's life; Lions establish a Down Syndrome Center that helps preschool children build language, reading, writing, fine motor skills and basic life skills; and Lions in Germany bring community members of all ages and backgrounds together through the Multi-Generation House.
