Hi listeners! We are back with another episode, this time with Dr. Eliza Steinbock, assistant professor in Cultural Analysis at LUCAS. Together we talked about the representation of sexualized bodies in art; their presentation as well as interpretation. In doing so we focus on representing non-binary identities in order to broaden our perspective and break free of binary gender structures. Hopefully we will manage to broaden your perspective as well :) We discussed a great amount of things: is there a fine line between pornography and art? should we focus mainly on physical representation of non-binary peoples? how art represent changes in understanding gender and sex?
