Discover means to UNEXPECTEDLY find someone or something. Discovering yourself is like being a deep-sea diver. Divers have a process for learning how to discover what lies beneath the ocean waves. They start small, in a pool. They practice breathing a breathing pattern that helps them stay calm and remain longer under water. They move to shallow ocean depths and practice. They gain experience and build confidence. Then they can go deeper and travel farther to dive in new locations. They can do this all of their lives.

It’s the same for all of us and for kids. There is no end to what you can discover about yourself and the world. You can empower kids to create a process for self-discovery with breathing, body movement, and journaling tools.
