o   I challenge you to take some time each week and reflect on the past week and how it went.

o   Wins, losses, achievements, improvements
§  How did I show up this week to my family’s needs?
·        Did I take care of the first 5 properly?
o   God 1st
o   Myself 2nd
o   My Spouse 3rd
o   My Kids 4th
o   My Family 5th
§  Where can I improve?
·        Can I lead more in worship?
·        Can I carve out some time to do a small bible study with my family?
·        Can I pray more?
·        Can I spend some time one on one with each of my family members each day?
§  What were my strengths this week?
·        Can I say that I improved this week and learned something new?
·        Was I slow to speak and quick to listen?
·        Did I lift anyone up when they were down?
·        Did I listen to God?
§  What is the one thing that I could stop doing that would benefit me the most?
·        Is it something as simple as eating or drinking something?
·        Is it give up time in front of the tv, phone or tablet?
·        Is it give up projects around the house and simply spend time with the family; wife/kids?
·        How is your family learning from each other?
o   Are you able to teach each other new things? 
o   Are you able to teach yourself something new?
o   What amount of time are you dedicating for this?
o   Are you planning your weeks or weekends?
o   NOW IS THE TIME! ENJOY IT!
·        How are you communicating?
o   Are you yelling?
o   Are you laughing?
o   Are you planning?
o   Are you praying?
o   Are you smiling?
o   Your body language can be contagious!
§  My brother n law sent a message out this week and I thought it was a good message.
·        “Happy is a choice.  If you are not happy, change what you are doing.”
·        Simple, although sometimes difficult.
·        Look to Jesus to help you!
