Marli Goodwin never met her father, who died mysteriously just after she was born. Now, unexpectedly, she learns his death happened at a place called Jackoburn Manor. Though it's been almost thirty years, she decides to investigate and see if there might be any clues for her to find.

By what seems like a strange coincidence, Marli arrives at the manor the same day as seven other people—all of them strangers to each other, including a ghost hunter, a runaway teen girl, a treasure hunter, some stranded travelers, and an old man who entered Jackoburn Manor as a boy... but can't remember what happened. A snowstorm traps them all inside the house for the night.

It isn't long before the eight people begin disappearing one by one, some with screams. Marli has the chilling feeling that there's someone—or something—with them in the manor...
