Big week of openings---Graco opens in an expanded space
Avel e-care opens renovated space
Jacky’s finally opens on 41st street
And we even talked about the O’Gorman Twins---who are working to get others to help decorate the cemeteries on Memorial Day. Later in our 10:00 the twins joined us along with Mr. Purple Heart that will help them

     Jodi of course just won an SBA State Award a week ago for all she does---I was honored to present it to her from SBA all across South Dakota.

     Jessie Schmidt---BBB of South Dakota----shared with us what to watch out for during national moving month. Get quotes in advance---check histories on the movers ----and be sure to do your home work from where you are leaving and where you are going.
      There are dangers ----and we don’t want our listeners to get taken----coming or going—yes we are happy to have the BBB be the instructor with this show and other appearances.
       Another Schmidt---Teri Schmidt—Experience Sioux Falls updated us on the event from this past Monday----the big luncheon---with Becky Hammond the keynote speaker. It was a chance for leaders to be together—salute a SD legend and at the same time meet—eat—and greet. Teri also updated us on the June 14-18 event---with 87 teams in town  at Yankton Park. 11 players each team on the field and 20 on the roster---the hope is to draw a big crowd and get the bid for 2026.
        Kip Rounds---SD Game Fish and Parks—had an old friend Dave Lucchesi-Area Fisheries Supervisor advise us on fishing forecast---anglers are planning trips—and they like to go where the fish are. Dave and Kip and team keep us posted with a short appearance in our show every week.
        Joe Batchellor—Downtown Sioux Falls shared some of the key events this Mother’s Day Weekend—and Cinko de Mayo Fiesta. Joe is good about where you might find a fabulous meal---a cold beer---and yes Mother’s Day Brunch. We work closely with them---and yes the Sculpture Walk—that has just increased there number of those you can see vote for in 2024.
     Elijah Bonds---Manager—Community Giving for Avera Foundation gave us the final details on the 36th Annual Avera Race Against Cancer that is this weekend. Bus rides---food—Jackie Haggan Tuschen—explained on Wednesday---and it goes from prayer from Sister Mary Thomas---a warm-up with Jackie---10K, 5K, 3 and 5 mile walks—food----and things to remember those that have been hit with cancer thru the years. Great project and we were happy to add our support. 
     The Sioux Falls Canaries open on the road this weekend---in Fargo-Moorehead---but they will be back home for opening day –next Friday—the Fireworks –9 innings of winning with a chance to snag $10,000 in cash and prices. Looks like a great season—and yes we’ll get our weekly updates.
     Diana Patterson—Sanford Career opportunities closed our first hour----she shares how you can check opportunities----and we enjoy the visit for not only Sioux Falls Sanford—and Sanford wide.
