Miles is a trustee and ex-commodore at Thames Sailing Club, one of the UK's oldest river sailing clubs, founded in 1870, located between Surbiton and Kingston. 

What’s unique about Thames Sailing Club is how they are such a relaxed club, where sailing for fun is the main aim.
