I’m joined today by The Worshipful the Mayor of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, Councillor Margaret Thompson.

Councillor Thompson qualified as a paediatric nurse and has held a variety of specialist posts in hospitals and in our community. 

What’s unique about Councillor Thompson is her perspective on human resilience, having witnessed how - with the right support - looked after children can grow past their own difficulties.
