This podcast is different from what I expected. Instead of telling the stories of various scandals from a historical point of view, it talks to reporters who happened to be working on the story when the person involved became infamous. I like this angle, it feels like an extra layer of interest. It feels a bit like hearing the story from a reporter at a bar or a party, but well-written. I love journalism, so this one hits lots of good notes for me.

An interesting and eclectic look at various scandals. Although perhaps 'most explosive scandals of this century' depends on your perspective - 'American Scandal' may be your podcast for that - it's well-made, well-told, and never less than interesting. If anything, the fact that you might not have heard of 'Girls Gone Wild' or the annual Juggalo convention (though you've probably heard of NXIVM and Steve Bannon) makes for an interesting deep dive. Recommended.
